Tagless & Formerly Tagless ... It's PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME!!

Good mornin' guys! I hope everyone had a great Easter.

I had a lovely morning with DH and DS. DS found all the eggs the bunny hid, and had a great time opening his basket. The Easter bunny also left some footprints outside our door, and that was so much fun!

The day sort of went downhill from there, but I won't get into all the details. Suffice it to say some things are going to have to change in my immediate family or there won't be a group Disney trip this year. I went to bed last night feeling disgusted, which is not the best feeling. But, it was great to see my father in law, and he and DS had a great time together, so that was nice. We've made plans to go visit him at his restaurant (he co-owns a pizzeria/Italian eatery with one of DH's uncles) and so I'm looking forward to that.

Happy Monday! :sad2::goodvibes:sad2::goodvibes

good morning

she didn't make it she messed up several times and I don't know why. she was very upset. this is a long story about some other issues as well but i won't get into any of that. but it remains that dd did mess up several times. :sad1:

but she is trying out for the drill team and the try outs are Thursday :scared1:

Good morning. Happy Monday. :scared:

Easter was good at my house. Just the immediate family and a whole bunch of veggie dishes. I took the longest nap ever, then couldn't get to sleep last night, so I'm quite tired today. The venti caramel macchiato is the only thing getting me through the morning.

This afternoon may be a struggle!

Ooo, a venti caramel macchiato.

Yum, yum, yum.

I don't drink coffee anymore, but when I did, that was my absolute favorite from Starbucks. :thumbsup2

Why don't you drink coffee anymore, Kat?

I'm curious about the Tag Fairy, so I'm going to ask all of you TF experts. I know the identity of the TF is secret, but does anyone have any guesses?

I think it would be so fun to troll the boards looking for something quoteable someone says, then immortalize that comment forever. How fun!

How many posts did some of you have before you said something worthy of the TF?

Well, since you asked...

I went to art school. I have a BFA in painting. So when I wanted to pull all nighters in the studio, I turned to coffee. We had a great little coffee shop on campus, and you could use your meal points there. :lmao: Basically in college, I was an addict. And afterwards, I just didn't like that I "needed" coffee to feel good. I would have to say that I really kicked the habit right before I became pregnant with my son, because some books were very adamant about not having caffeine while pregnant, others were not, and I thought, why take a chance.

So I am a currently a no caffeine beverage drinker. If I get any, it's in the copious amounts of chocolate I eat when I'm...uh...at that time of the month. :lmao:

Sadly, I am still tagless.

Nothing I've said has been tagworthy, so I'm the worst person to answer this. And I'd love to know who that tag fairy is, but I love that it's a secret. It adds to the mystery. Much like the Dread Pirate Roberts in The Princess Bride. ;)

And by the by, :welcome: to this thread. I don't think I did that properly before we started talking. Happy to have you here! :goodvibes

Did you have any withdrawal symptoms? While I'm not a hard-core coffee drinker, I need at least 2 servings of caffeine a day, or I get a terrible headache. I generally get that with diet cokes, though. I treat myself to the frou-frou coffees when I am running early in the mornings and have enough time to stop (aka rarely).

I love that movie! Nobody in my family wants to watch it with me anymore because I talk along through the whole thing. I can pretty much say word for word any scene. It's such a classic.

Thank you, it's good to be here!

OMG, I went through HUGE withdrawals. Big headaches, and nothing worked. And honestly, because it's been so long, if I have any form of caffeine now, like a frou frou coffee drink (which I used to love), I get a headache. Funny how the tables turn.

Me, too! I love that movie.

I have also been known to randomly quote movies in every day life. I think my husband is one of the only people who always knows a)what I'm talking about and b)what prompted me to quote that movie.

God bless him, we're a match made in heaven. :lmao:

Thank you, it's good to be here!

Ok, now I want to see The Princess Bride again. It's been a long time. I have been known to quote things from movies and Seinfeld too.

Cheermom, hope your daughter makes drill team. We don't have that in our little High School.

TarzansKat, hope things work out with your family. I understand about having family issues all too well. :goodvibes

It's going to be in the 20's tonight. :cold: WTH is up with that?

Maybe we should all watch the Princess Bride tonight. :thumbsup2

Thanks. So far, we have a resolution. Now it's up to everyone to keep up with their promises.:thumbsup2

Ugh. I would recommend curling up with a good cup of something. Tea, hot chocolate...liquor...:rolleyes1

Sorry your Easter went down hill. Family can be a pain.

That's too bad, I hope she doesn't beat herself up too much. Good luck to her and the drill team.

You speak Starbucks!!!!! I love Starbucks. When the baristas at a few stores start to know you, you go too often.

My DH and I speak in movie quotes too. Princess Bride and So I Married an Axe Murderer are two of our favorites to quote. Just never ask what's in a box or he'll repeat the Brad Pitt line from "Seven" over and over. ("What's in the box?")

SADIEDOG - 20's? :scared1: Really? Wow. :scared:

I was sorely tempted to move out of state today.

Would you and LegoMom like a new neighbor? :lmao:

OMG! I LOVE So I Married an Axe Murderer! I didn't know that anyone else still remembers that film and loves it like we do. And, DED, over the what's in the box line. I don't think my DH has actually seen that movie in its entirety, so he wouldn't get it.

"Woman...wo-man...wooooo-man...." :lmao:

:lmao: We let DD9 watch it last weekend (well, DH did.) She thought it was hilarious. Now she has joined in with the "Heed, paper, now." Or "He cried himself to sleep on his gargantuan pilla." One of my favorite movies ever. DH and I fell in love with our mutual love of that movie.

One of my favorites?

"Heed, move!"

:lmao:

I have not seen So I Married an Ax Murderer. There are too many movies I have not seen yet. Another one I can add to the list. I don't like to watch movies for the 1st time on TV b/c they are cut up too much. We don't rent often either.

I hate to say this, but I AM COLD COLD COLD. Sick of being cold! I think I will watch the last 1/2 of House in bed since Gossip Girl is a repeat.

You need one of these to keep you warm...
