Good thing you didn't join me for drinks C-Amanda. I would not have been much fun since I was asleep by 8:30. Mean Queen was right on when she quoted my tag about being in bed. DH made me mad so I turned in early. I simply did not have the strength to bicker with him over something so silly. Men! :sad2:

And I stayed up half the night reading Eclipse. . .Glad to know, however, I'm not the only one who just goes to bed when my dh makes me mad. It makes me tired just arguing with him. . .

Good morning Formerly Tagless friends!

Loving the cat graphics! :thumbsup2

What's everyone up to this fine Saturday? Typical Saturday around here for us - errands to the home improvement store, take trash to the dump, probably a run to Target. Later we'll be going to the Harvest Festival the next town over; there are some skate boarding races that DS11 wants to see, plus a fair and flea market, a kids' pet show and pony rides. They have fireworks tonight which we'll skip....They just won't compare since we watched Wishes less than a week ago...:sad2:

.

I love Harvest Festivals! But I can see how the fireworks would pale in comparison.
LegoMom, that sounds like a good day.

I'm about to leave for Homecoming dress shopping. Feel so sick I hate to ride in a car.

Hope you found a beautiful dress!!
Sounds like ya'll have fun days in front of you. I get to clean house. :sad1: But I'm gonna work on our upcoming trip too.

Ds played in his first ever football game today. It's flag, so supposedly no contact. Wish someone had told the four boys who all tackled my son after the whistle was blown. :sad2: I'm not going to do well as a football mom, I can tell. The problem is, ds loves it. Oh well, at least it's not boxing, wrestling, or hockey. . .

We somehow managed to get a dress and a bra for $35.:cheer2: I was very happy with that. This is the 1st time she has a black dress. It's form fitting. I guess it's what you would call a good butt dress. There were a few nice ones but not dresses she could wear a bra with and she wants "help" from a pushup bra. Some of us are lacking in that area.

I just got home from my sons football scrimmage. It's not easy waiting to see if your son is going to get crushed. I know it's hard, but hopefully you won't be too nervous. My son was only 92lbs in June so I'll guess 95 now. He is scrawny and some of these kids are twice his size. He got the ball tonight for the 1st time and carried it about 25 yards, close to the end zone. It was exciting but nerve wracking when you see the other team coming for him and he doesn't have any blockers. Good luck to your son and hope you both can enjoy it.

So glad you found a great dress. I know about not being able to fill out clothes. I used to be like that.

Ds is scrawny, too. He is over 4 feet tall and only weighs 65 pounds. I was good, though. . .I wanted to yell at the refs for not throwing a flag. One parent got sent away for yelling at the refs. I did not yell. I just told ds he handled it well.

You'll start to enjoy it once you get used to the idea that its your kid on the field. You'll be a great football mom. Probabl end up being the loudest yeller there. :lmao:

My daughter is convinced that when she is older she wants breast enhancement surgery. We will see if she still feels that way when she is older. I know what it's like to always be made fun of b/c I am lacking.

Oh my no, you don't want to be one of those parents getting thrown out.

She might want to wait until after she has her first child for that surgery. I grew 2 cup sizes and they never shrank. :scared1: People made fun of me too because I was lacking. I don't understand why teenagers have to be so cruel over something beyond our control.

I laughed about the whole thing with the parent being thrown out yesterday. She was yelling at the refs and the coach. . .it was the coach's mom. :rotfl:

It's funny--dh actually taught the coach in the 11th grade. It's hard to call him Coach Ford. When I've spent the last 7 years calling him "Foodini" (his football nickname when he was in high school).

If you could donate these like you donate a kidney then she could have mine. I grew up with the opposite problems (AND I've had 3 kids...) and I absolutely hate mine! I got teased for being the first in my class to wear a bra, and in high school I was bigger than everyone else so for some reason that was enough to peg me as, well, let's just say that even though I didn't date ANY one until my senior year, it was rumored that I had. Nuf said. Simply because my girls were ample! So stupid. In my adult life they have interfered with my being active (I can't jog, and when I was riding horses certain gaits were very uncomfortable). I can't even do up the sternum strap on my backpack!! Have I mentioned I hate them??! I should also mention that I have a hard time getting tops to fit correctly, and usuallly have to get a size too big just to accomodate them.

Now, to look into reduction, I have to go through hoops with the insurance company to get it paid for (like months of documented chiropractor visits and such to "prove" that my back/posture is being effected....:sad2: ).

Anywho!.....

It was REALLY slow around here last night so I hope y'all had some fun plans. Mean Queen was out and about with the gals I think? Smileybug where are you??!

We're off to church this morning so I need to go get myself and everyone else ready. Be back later!

GOOD MORNING YA'LL

I hope it's a beautiful day in your neighborhood. Because it a beautiful day in mine. :goodvibes

That's a great deal for a dress! I pay that much for a bra alone. You guys are making me happier I don't have a boy. I'd have to try to make him a big geek so I wouldn't have to watch him play sports. You can't get tackled fixing computers. :surfweb:

I was! We did pedicures, the Melting Pot, then saw "Burn After Reading." It was an interesting movie. I don't think it's for everybody, but I liked it. It's funny in an absurd way. About 3/4's of the way through, my friend said "What is the point of this movie?" When it's over, you realize there really wasn't a point. Brad Pitt was hilarious as a dim wit gym trainer.

I think it's hovering around 70 degrees here. Beautiful day! I'll be on the porch updating my PTR later. After lunch, that is. I just got started with a 7 layer dip.

It's a beautiful day here. I have laundry hanging out. :laundy: I may even wash my my quilt.

Good thinking. I'm sure she would have to wait a long time for it to be financially possible anyway. Hey, how come I had to shrink so much after breast feeding and how come 1 shrunk way more than the other? Some people are just rotten and thoughtless. I still have had people make stupid comments as an adult.

My dear friend has also expressed how she would like to donate some to us. She would also like a reduction. She is still breast feeding and feels like a freak. Too bad insurance companies make it so difficult.

That's what I don't understand either. I can understand them not covering an enlargement...that's pretty much 100% for cosmetic reasons (meaning you never hear of someone who "had" to have an augmentation!). But you don't have to have chronic back problems to have other difficulties with being too large. So, for the time being anyway, buying some good bras is still cheaper!!

By the way I was thinking of you earlier!....we're heading to Maine later this week and I was looking at a map and Maine made me think of you. We'll be at a friend's beach house at Orchard Park, I think it is. Just south of Old Orchard Beach. My in-laws are celebrating their 50th anniversary this week!

Actually, enlargements can help even out someone who was two different sizes or it can be reconstructive for someone who lost a breast from cancer.

50 years! Congrats to your in-laws.

Hellll - oooooooooo??!

Where is everybody?!....:confused3

I'm feeling like I'm the only one who has nothing better to do than check in on my DIS threads.

Oh wait, I AM the only one who has nothing better to do than check on my DIS threads!! :rotfl2:

I've been checking and no one else was here, so I just looked and left.

I'm still trying to decide if I'm doing the right thing by packing shorts for ds and capris for the girls. I think the girls will be fine and I'll just leave ds' stuff up top to add a few pairs of jeans at the last minute if need be.

Oh, and I'm taking pictures for my PTR. I want to update it later. Or in the morning. I have a day off tomorrow! :)
