If she seems fine now, you could always bring her back.

The test ended at 11. I just was worried she would throw up at school then I wouldn't be able to bring her for 2 days and tomorrow is the second day of the test. I told her unless she's bleeding profusely or throwing up, I will not pick her up during a test again.

I think she got nerves not because of the test but because they added a new teacher to cut down on class size and she was moved to the new class. A few of her friends went with her, but not the one she was closest to.

I didn't mean send a sick child back b/c they are feeling a little better. I should have said that better the 1st time.

I am frustrated right now. I have been picking up a kid and taking him to school every day. His mother works for the same district I do. This has been a "kindness of my heart" type thing. Well, a few minutes ago, I get an email from her. "Where were you?" I told her 3 times last week I would be out today. She assumed I was coming to take him to school anyway. I'm not driving 30 minutes to work to take s kid who is not even mine to school. She should have made arrangements. This may be the last week I do it for her. It adds 3 miles a day to my drive and she has not offered once to help pay for gas.

My son used to get stomach aches when he was nervous too. He recognized that it could be nerves though and used to say that he didn't know if it was just nerves or if he really didn't feel well. Hard to tell.

It's okay. What I was thinking was would the school let the kid go back since she went home supposedly sick. Ours would not let them. That's all :goodvibes

WHAT? You told her 3 times you were going to be out and she still expected you to give him a ride? Ridiculous.

No good deed goes unpunished. Why can't she take her own kid to school? Is it a friend of yours or just someone you know?

Yeah, if they thought the kids was sick, I wouldn't blame them for not wanting the student back. If it was however an ongoing issue a kid uses as an excuse to leave school and it was discussed with administration, it shouldn't be a problem. I've seen parent/administration fix the problem by taking the kid back when they faked it. The kid finally only called home when it was needed.

I know.

She has to be at work at 7:20 and no one is at his school until 7:45. So I pick him up and take him with me. She's really a coworker. I figured she'd get her mother to take him to school today.

I'm waiting for my daughters prescription to be ready and for my Dr office to call. My antibiotic has caused an abundance of yeast. I used to get a prescription called Terazol that can't be found in stores. Hopefully I will get a call before I leave to get my daughters prescription.

Time to bake some bread! :lmao: I hate the side effects of antibiotics. :headache:

That's the major downfall of an antibiotic. I hate them. Hopefully they will call soon. Our doctor's office now sends prescriptions through encrypted email to our pharmacy. I never wait more than 5 min for a prescription there! :cool1:

My office and my daughters email prescriptions too. My drug store is slow though. My Dr office is usually pretty slow calling back. I could be waiting all day.

I read about some home remedies for yeast infection. I am NOT making plain yogurt popsicles in fingers of a rubber glove. :rolleyes1

:lmao: :rotfl2: That might be refreshing on a warm summer day. :rotfl:

:lmao: I don't think I would, either. :rotfl2:

My drug store is fast. I go to a small town one that still has personal credit accounts for customers. You know, where they write down your prescriptions and they let little old ladies pay their bill when they get the Social Security check in once a month. No interest. You're trusted because people know you. And you know what? Since everyone knows you, no one ever skips out on paying the bill. That's what I call the good old days.

That's great. My Rite Aid has some issues, but they are getting better. No other choice unless I want to drive 10 miles or more.
