Good morning.

My daughter woke up with something wrong with her hip. Well, not on the side, but the front part of the leg. It's probably a strained muscle. She's going to practice to talk to her coach but will probably end up at the Dr.

I am going to my brothers soon to clean. Maybe to my mothers to paint after that.

Morning all! The concert was so much fun. I am even more in love with Michael Johns and David Cook. But I also found Chikeze to be much better than I remember. I did a big bonehead move. I remembered my camera, but left the battery charging at home. I had to use my iPhone for pictures. The low quality camera is my big complaint about the iPhone. I posted a full review with pictures on the chatty idol thread. I'll try to copy a link or the post over here.

Sadiedog - hope your DD is okay, good luck with the painting.

Interesting day here....we have no water in the house.... I bought some gallon jugs for cooking/drinking/tooth brushing, but that's it! "Fortunately" it seems to be something in this little electrical box, rather than a major problem with the well itself. But, still, we have no water in the house.

So I'm off to have some coffee and listen to Rope Drop.

It did -I was actually posting while the Tag Fairy did her magic! I came on to the boards, went to post on a thread (not scrolling), wrote for a minute or so, hit "submit" and when my post came up, voila!....I was scrolling!

It was weird because I was ON the "Scrolling Tag Quest" forum!

Water is back! It was something called a relay switch, between the power source and the water pump. So, no 'juice' getting to the pump. Thus, no water. My dearest DH found the part at our local little hole-in-the-wall hardware store... we've always marveled at how they seem to stock absolutely everything in that little store, but this takes the cake!! This switch is original to the house, so is over 30 years old! Amazing he could find it, let alone have it in stock!

Friday is over!!!! And dh is at the store buying some (ahem) refreshments. All in all a good week. I used the fall code on my Disney trip and saved $300. And saving money is always a good thing.

Sorry about your daughter, SadieDog. I'm still holding out for your tag. I still am willing to sacrifice waiting a long time for a tag as long as you get one first.

MeanQueen, too bad about your camera. At least you saw David and Michael .

Smileybug, thanks for the Friday well wishes. They put a smile on my face this afternoon. Our director of sped left early this afternoon and apparently left word for everyone with a problem to call me. Do you know many people with problems call at the last minute on Friday afternoon? To be fair, though, I actually enjoyed it. I even deflated one very irate parent over a harmless misunderstanding.

Long story short--it was a good day and awesome week! DH got a promotion, I saved money on the vacation, work was great, I got a couple of new students I absolutely loved, and I pay off the vaca tomorrow morning!!!! Oh, and 62 days!!!
