My DD's friend goes home today and my DD goes with her!! I'm meeting my friend half way for lunch. Though I'm starting to think of maybe going more than half way and meeting her in Downtown Disney. It all depends on when the girls get up and get packed. We pick my DD up on Friday for a weekend trip to Disney. Our passes are good again then.

You'd think, yet they have been "bored." My offers of helping with the laundry were usually turned down. She only helped because it is her chore and I threatened to not pay her allowance this week. I hope my DD is better for my friend than her DD was for me. She backtalked and wasn't very polite. My DD and her had trouble finding stuff they both wanted to do. I don't know if I'll have her stay again. They have been friends since my DD was 2, but since we don't live near them, they don't know each other well.

According to TV radar looks like ya'll are under the same system we are. They are saying possible sever weather later. But the whole thing should be off the coast by later this evening.

Oh.... now I must say that if you didn't tell me that and it cleared up I would have BELIEVED it was the sunglasses trip. But the info is great because i will hurry to get everything done and back home before the severe stuff hits. We always loose power so i will get dinner done too. Adding to my list...

As I just said on the other thread, if the sun stays out, I am hiking a local small easy mountain. Though I need to do a lot more than that to get ready for a real mountain this fall.

How long is this small, easy mountain going to take to get to the top?

It's only a mile. Well the new side trail is a little over a mile b/c it's not as steep. At the top there is an old fire tower you can climb and get some great views.

That sounds like a pain. Maybe meeting up somewhere for lunch and a few hours of doing something fun would be better than the few day stay.

If stuff is going on his carry-on, then yes, it has to be in a 3-oz. container (or less), and that stuff all has to be together in a clear, quart-size Ziploc bag. If it's going checked-luggage, then it doesn't matter.

It's raining here. Of course, that means Charlie was in the rain all night, but we really needed it here.

Oh that is super duper news! Had you already told your daughter he was missing? I am glad he is home, fleas and all.

No, we had not. We let her go to sleep thinking maybe he was out back in the kennel. We thought maybe he'd come home overnight. I'm glad we waited.

That is great news!!!! I guess he just had to realize that life on the outside of the joint wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

He's gonna be mad tomorrow night, though. We're getting a new puppy--a 7 week old basset hound. I'll post a picture the family selling the dog to us emailed me this morning when I can get to Photobucket. It's blocked here at work.

Okay, yes, he's terrorizing the cat, but I promise you, Tiger can take care of himself.

When it rains, it pours. I went out to the car for lunch (my new car--the 1st payment is due tomorrow), and my back seat is literally flooded! The seal is messed up and it is leaking water into the car. I go to the dealership, and they ask me to return tomorrow. I am so frustrated. They are going to fix it and clean it, but if it mildews/molds, they are going to find me a new car.

Day's been ok! Slower day at work but fun. I wanted to sit on the deck this afternoon but opted to get my exercising done instead! I'm into my 3rd week of a regular work-out schedule and getting to the point of feeling "blah" and missing it if I don't do it.

We are going out in a while to the local summer seafood stand restaurant (for ice cream, actually...!). They have a gathering of classic cars every Wednesday during the summer, and the boys love that.

So nice to just be outside!!!
