Ya'll, we can't find our cocker spaniel. DH and I went across the farm on a golf cart ride while the kids were visiting our neighbor. On the back end of the farm, there is a swamp. Charlie heard a deer and started barking and chasing it. This was 2 1/2 hours ago. We haven't seen him since. Dh is out again for the third time tonight looking for him. :sad1: We are worried:
1. it wasn't a deer, but a coyote we heard, which would kill him;
2. he's gotten into quicksand and can't get out;
3. he's gone on to the other side of the swamp and ended up in the highway.

This dog was my daughter's 8th birthday present and is our family friend (his picture is in my PTR). I'm sick with worry, but the kids don't know yet that he is missing, because we don't want to stress them or scare them unless something is verifiably wrong. :sad: I have already been crying tonight over this. I can't believe he just ran off like that. :sad:

Hopefully he'll get hungry and run home soon. :hug: I really hope nothing bad happened to him. All your options sound very scary. :scared:

SadieDog, I've decided that if I ever get a scrollie, I'm giving it to you.

You have NO tags. You've been here for over 2 years. And it seems like you're often dealing with "stuff."

So, I'm wishing all my fairy dust on you! pixiedust: And here's hoping that your first tag is a moving tag!

Oh and by the way, it's still raining in NH.....

.

You are so sweet. :flower3:

Yup, over 2 years and still no tag for me. I'm not surprised. That's the way things go with me. You know how some people just seem to be lucky and things fall in place for them, I am just the opposite. I have a brother the same way. The one that lives near me. We just laugh about it. Makes you appreciate the good even more. Unfortunately I have passed the "nothing in life comes easy" torch onto my daughter.

Oh no, I'm so sorry. As a huge dog lover, I feel terrible for you. I know how you can become sick with worry. I hope you find him soon.

Evening all.

creativeamanda...I am so hopping your furbaby makes an appearance very soon. :hug:

SadieDog...I'm in agreement with everyone else!! I hope your tag comes soon!! :goodvibes

LegoMom...If I may add my two cents worth...Go for the pictures. :thumbsup2

LegoMom, I'd do with the photopass CD.

LegoMom - Have you had your boys get the spiky gel from the Main Street Barber? If not, I recommend it. They take colored gel, spike up the hair, paint a mickey head on the back, then cover them in glitter. I'm not sure what cool things they have for boys, but for girls we got castles, crowns, and carriages put in my DD's gel. It makes for great scrapbooking later.

Hmm.... Well, I can say, that the only one that has hair that might even remotely stand up straight, is the least likely to even consider the idea!!! The middle child has thick curls that resist any form of containment and/or persuasion! Perhaps the youngest, but...:rolleyes: They've had "crazy hair day" during the last week of school and I can never get them to do anything fun for that....:sad2:

Aw, your opinion is worth far more than two cents to me! :goodvibes And I think I'll do just that - get the CD. We had some good pics on our card last time but I could only order a few of them because they were $$$ ! This way I can keep 'em all.

Still no sign of him. . .I'll let all of you know. Thanks for the cyberhugs. I'm thinking maybe the week needs to hurry up and be over so I can count it over and start anew next week.

YOU GOT A SCROLLIE!! :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

The Tag Fairy must be working on it now. When I first saw it, it was red and my previous "I can't wait for it to be my turn" just said "I can't". Then that was gone. Now the scrollie is blue! We caught the TF in action!

All she has to do is sprinkle scrolly dust on it!

If I sprinkle scrolly stuff on the dust in my house will it go away?
