OH!!.....forgot I'd posted about that here! (been spending most of my on-line social time on Facebook lately).

He's home!!!!!!!!! He's FINE! No Feline Leukemia or anything nasty like that. Quite an upper-respiratory infection, but he's on antibiotics and doing better already. They cleaned up his head (TONS better!!) and neutered him while he was in there. He's in our bathroom now, and I'll keep him in there until at least tomorrow afternoon. I want him to have a good 24 hours to get his bearings and recover from the whole vet ordeal. Although I'd wager he's feeling a heap better!! He is THE sweetest little guy!...just wants to love on you and has a purr to go with it. When he's out and about and feeling himself again, I'll take some pics to post here.:lovestruc

Nice Kimmar! The American Idol kitty makes an appearance for the babnanas.

LegoMom - what are you naming the new kitty?

Tink - a solo trip is better than no trip!

I LOVE TOOTY TAS!!!!

Officially the best dance ever. I could do it over and over again.

Hi

have yet to experience the joys of a solo trip.... hmmmmm gonna have to do some future planning pretty dern soon.

EEEEeeewww!.....sorry, not a Sylvester Stalone fan. At. All.:scared:

:rotfl:

I have just made my 3rd and final change to my trip (yeah, I know...cutting it pretty close here!!)....I went ahead and booked the later flight.:upsidedow I had booked the town car to give myself an extra hour with the original flight, but with the expense of this kitten, I can no longer justify spending that money when DME is free. So I now get practically a whole 4th day in the parks and won't feel rushed. I can sleep on the plane, and when I arrive back in Austin, there's a Starbucks right at the airport for that late drive home! I'm happy.....I would have regretted the short, rushed morning more than dealing with some fatigue later in the day. This solo chance doesn't come around every day!

When any of you go on solo trips, do you ever feel lonely seeing everyone else with their families?

I don't think you'll regret that decision at all.

'K guys....I'm posting an informal poll: on my last day, do I.....

a) Go to Epcot for EMH, get in a good hour or two of attractions and then take the monorail to the MK (likely stopping at the Poly for a Kona coffee at the express bar!!)

or,

b) Go to the MK for the opening ceremony, stay until lunch time or so and then monorail to EP for the last few hours?

I really love Epcot during morning EMH,when it first opens. But I might like to see a MK opening as well (you know, all the fanfare and ceremony involved).

Whadda ya think?!

Is that your only chance for MK opening ceremonies? Would you still be able to get all you want done at Epcot if you went later?

Yes, that's the only morning I'd have for the MK. I'll be there later on Sunday for the evening EMH, but not any other morning. I will have had lots of time at Epcot. I was originally planning to go there that morning because it opens at 8:00 instead of 9:00, like all the other parks, when I was expecting to have to be on a DME bus at noon (trying to maximize my last few hours!). Actually, if I go to MK first, I may just stay there for the day.

If that's your only chance for MK opening, then do it. You love the show and would hate missing it, but missing Epcot opening wouldn't be as heartbreaking.

Very good point. There is something extra-magical about the opening at MK!:wizard:
