LegoMom, hope all is going well with your Dad. :goodvibes

....yes....any updates??

Thanks guys.... Yes, I did get a call a short time ago. He's done and stable and all went well. His wife was heading over at that time for a quick visit (he'll be out of it) and she'll talk to the Dr. at that point and get the scoop on what exactly was done (the extent of it).

I also just booked a flight over there - finally got a DING! fare from Southwest and scored $82 one way....the round trip comes to less than some of the other one way fares!! I'm going first weekend in Feb. for 4 days.

:rotfl2:

I am already tired and I have to go back to daycare. Instead of resting before I go back, I took the dogs for a walk in the woods. I have to go outside with the school age kids this afternoon and I've already been out this morning with the little ones. Do you know how long it takes to get a group of little ones ready with all their snow gear? Then take it all off and put it away once inside. It's good for them to get out though, but it's tiring and time consuming. Not looking forward to going back outside with the older kids. I have a chill. Considering I'm still on meds for this sinus and ear infections, I shouldn't be wearing myself out. I don't see myself having too much energy to cook when I get home. I think I should have skipped the walk today. Maybe I can go to bed early. I will feel sick after I take my antibiotic tonight anyway. Might as well be warm in my bed, right? :lmao:

Oh, I am glad to hear that dad is stable and recovering. Wonderful news.

And congrats on the good rate! I know how you feel, sometimes they can be ridiculous!

I have to say, reading your posts always gives me a newfound level of appreciation for my son's preschool teachers. I can't even imagine handling that many little ones all day!

Try to take it easy. Fresh air can help, but too much outside while it's cold isn't good.

LegoMom, that's GREAT news!

Wow, I"m sleepy and I can't seem to get rid of this chill.

It's alwasy nice to hear someone who appreciates our efforts. Believe me, not all parents are appreciative. Some who have not been to other daycares don't know how good they have it. For instance, if a child has an accident, the daycare lady always immediately washes all the soiled clothes/training pants. She dries them and puts them back in the childs bag CLEAN.

You know what, I actually was only able to get availability for 1900 Park Fare, and since we're staying at the GF, it makes the most sense for our departure day.

Have you eaten there? I've never had breakfast there.

Isn't this one of Amanda's favorites?

Why, oh why does this make me think of Grumpy Pirate? :rotfl2:There isn't a bottle of rum anywhere. :confused3

I really hope you can shake this soon. And then stay well.

SadieDog, you really don't give yourself enough credit.

Oh, I definitely appreciate the woman who take care of my son. They've done him a world of good, and they are very caring.

But wow, I can't believe they clean the clothes! Wow.

I just can't keep it inside anymore.......American Idol is tomorrow!!!:banana::banana:

Can't wait!!

TarzansKat: Oh, I know what you mean. We had planned to stay at POFQ, but for the rate that we got, I cannot turn down the Grand Flo.

It is costing us, to stay there, less than rack rate on the Wilderness Lodge. I'm mega excited.

Here's a link to my new (shortest ever) PTR, in case anyone wants to follow along. :goodvibes

Feeling Grand - How to Plan a Disney Trip In 18 Days or Less

On my way over right now!!

Smileybug:I'm not serious or snooty. But I shoot. :rotfl:
I have never gotten a pin code. :sad1: I'm pretty good at finding codes once they post. But I've never gotten that oh so longed for pin code.:goodvibes

Up until 2007 I received pin codes by mail quite often - then nothing for quite awhile or nothing very good.
Then last November I was looking into a quick trip down with a friend and saved some offer on the www.disneyworld.com site.....2 pin offers mentioning my saved info saying of my dates were flexible etc. Did not go or book for later.

Go forward, did the same thing and low and behold more pin codes...I have now received 5 since November 29! I checked the pins so not the same numbers...4 are for the 20%, 30%, 40% and the best one is for 30%, 35%, 40% - all of the 5 are good for dates until next December.:yay:

Swear I never put it together why these codes were showing up all of a sudden, but lately it's pretty obvious. I would definitely go in, log in, plan a trip, save it, then when leaving the site answer the pop-up questions about why you did not book - I always check was not the best value. Good luck!!:goodvibes

Smiley, Tink is doing really well. I'll tell her you were thinking of her. That girl is busier than a one armed paper hanger. I swear, I don't know how she does it. :lmao:

Guess what I've been doing all morning?

Sneaky little devil, ain't I?

Hey, I have a question for you guys. Out of these which would you pick for breakfast?

Chef Mickey's
Princess Breakfast at Akershus
1900 Park Fare

I can't keep up! Is this what ya'll do when I am working? Leave me behind?!?!?

Me too! Just when I'm about to respond to something, I see the situation has already been resolved. I guess we're not needed anymore.

I got yelled at by a guy at work today because he went to Epcot yesterday and there was a race going on. I told him "That's exercise, I don't pay attention to any of that." He said they blocked off the World Showcase until after 1, so he hopped over to MK. Good thing he had a hopper or I'd have really been in trouble. :rolleyes1

Well, I just pulled myself out of teh Biggest Loser challenge. With work, home, the kids going through catechism, which is an animal I thoroughly did not expect to be so big, and current obligations through my trip reports, I am trying to trim down my DIS time. I can't keep up with the whole speed of the challenge, and there are a lot more people in the challenge than I expected!
