I know this is a shocker, but I will be going in a few weeks. I'll be there over MLK weekend. Does anyone know if it is possible to buy Disney Dollars with the reward card?

This vacation is a different kind of exhausting than our usual Disney ones. Yesterday, we just hung out around the cabin all day. Today, we went for lunch at a local place then hit an exotic petting zoo and stables. We got to feed goats, deer, reindeer, camels, a zebra, donkeys, and a zonkey (zebra/donkey mix.) Then we took a horseback ride through the mountains. I had to ride double with my 3 year old because I didn't think she could hold on to her own horse. That was some work. I kept squishing her, so I'd have to hold myself up in the stirrups to give her room. The view was beautiful. We got back just as the sun set over the mountains. Tomorrow, we may go snow tubing in the man made snow at Ober Gatlinburg. But I guess it depends on how we all feel after today.

Ok. This is wrong. Mean Queen is riding horses. I have one...and I'm not. If ever there was a kick in the pants for me to just DO it, this is it!!!

But I'll be curious to see how well you're walking tomorrow!

It usually takes a couple of weeks to get the card. I have till 01/11 before things start expiring. I asked the Disney Credit Card guy and he said yes you can buy Disney Dollars with the reward card.

We're talking about tubing tomorrow. I don't think that is going to happen if I wake up feeling like I have the legs of an 80 year old. While this is fun, I am definitely not a nature activity type of gal.

Thanks. I drove past it last night, and while I'm not thrilled with the location in the complex (or the picture of the galley kitchen LOL) I'm trying to suspend judgment until I see the inside. It happens to be short sale, so it's possible we could get a really good deal, and being first time homebuyers, we do qualify for the tax credit.

...that's awesome! Just remember: it's a big investment, so, it's gotta 'grab ya'....sorta like when you are buying a wedding gown - you put on that certain special dress and immediately know it's 'THE ONE'....

I was doing so well, but my stomach is absolutely riotous today. Whenever that happens, I always think, well, I must be making something really important in there.

My, my....I come back to find out that Mean Queen has been on a horse!! See ya'll....Christmas miracles do happen. Ohhhhhh and TK is gonna have a little bean. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! LegoMom....I had a wonderful Christmas. No drama at all. As a matter of fact I have laughed more the last few weeks than ....... My belly is still sore from all the laughter. My family is nuts. I have taken one tree down. At this rate I should be done by the end of February. SadieDog, have you packed away your village yet? I really don't want to put mine away this year. I am seriously thinking about putting a train track around my pool room. I would love to start incorporating the village along with that. Creativeamanda....don't worry about turning the lights on. Typing in the dark adds an air of mystery to things. Kimmar....yep that about covers it. Hey PaMom. And if I missed anyone....please forgive me.
