DD3 had her tubes done and adenoids removed today. The surgery went well. She already seems almost 100 percent well. Kids are so resilient.

Amanda texted me this morning. She said she arrived safely, got her room early, and was headed to Epcot for breakfast. Sounds like a good start to a solo vacation to me.

LOL, Legomom--I was at both. MK this morning, HS this afternoon. I just canceled my reservation for breakfast. I'm sleeping in. I have the Christmas party tomorrow night. It's gonna rain, but I'll still have fun.

And Yachtsman was yummy. I've been taking pics for a food porn thread.

Shay--I'm glad your dd3 got through surgery well. I remember Sweetie going through that. I think she was 2 at the time. We tried everything but, but in the end it was for the best. I know you did the same.

Well I finally got my christmas shopping done and got to get my nails done. They look beautiful and I LOVE em!!! but nothing beats being here on the DIS!!!

I'm at the grand floridian cafe having lunch. This is still my favorite restaurant on site. It's disneys hidden gem.

Afterwards, I go to MK--hoping to catch the parade before the party.

Not sure if this will help you now, but you know that they let you in with your party ticket starting at 4 p.m. (though the party doesn't start until 7.) So if you wait to go until then, you wouldn't use up a day of your regular ticket. I think the masses of people trying to get in at one time taught them to let people in earlier. Plus, they'd be more likely to eat dinner at the park if they are there at dinner time.
