If I went into work like that they would notice so fast! Hee hee, I work as a dental assistant. Can you say clean clean clean. I never realized how much I have to wash my hands in a day after becoming an assistant. Kwazy Kwazy...


While on the subject of animals pooping on one another.... (that sounds like a bad way to start a sentence but what are ya gonna do?) When I worked at the Humane Society I was responsible for a family of rats that we had up for adoption and I had taken one of them out to play and show to some potential adopters ( a family of four with 2 kids ages 4 and 7) and I had the rat on my shoulder and was talking to the family about how great they are and I noticed that the 4 year old had started to giggle and I asked her what was so funny and she said "The rat made poople on your shoulder". And sure enough the rat had taken a poop on my shoulder as I was talking to the people and it had already slid down my back adn onto my pants. The good thing was that he didn't poop anymore but the bad part was that it was the beginning of my shift and I didn't have a change of clothes. Not to mention that I lived twenty or so minutes away from the place.

So long story short, you're not alone in the poop department.

It's amazing that no matter how many different topics we cover, it all comes back down to toots and poops. . . .

HAHAHA! wow well that's the case most of the time... i every so often will walk into one of my classes and it's all i can do to NOT smack my forehead. i'm not saying i'm squeaky clean and perfect here, but seriously? oh the joys of my peers.

speaking of peers; think of me tomorrow! i'll be battling the immaturity of those very same high schoolers as i participate in our schools Ghost Out. for those that don't know what that is it's part of SADD (students against destructive decisions). the stats say that every 40 minutes a person (people?) are killed in a drunk driving accident. that's 11 people during the time we are in school.
so throughout the day 11 of the SADD members (i'm one of them ) will be pulled from a class by the grim reaper and have their face painted white and wear a paper with the story of a victim of a drunk driving accident.
but after being 'painted', as we SADDies say, we are not allowed to talk. we can only talk if a teacher directly addresses us. it's supposed to show the impact of that person being 'missing' during school. last year all the 'ghosts' sat together at lunch with our SADD director and another teacher. students still threw food and assorted packets of ketchup and such. this year we are allowed to eat with our director in her office but a table will be left empty in the cafeteria to show the impact.
after schoool the 11 of us line in the commons and allow people to approach and read the individual cases we represent.
so the think about me part was; send me mental power to not talk!! kids are so immature and try to get the 'ghosts' to talk. it's really rude, but what do you do?
i'm really honored to be doing this. i think it's a great way to get a message across!

Our school did that about a year ago. It was during Red Ribbon week. It was very traumatic for several students.
