You know it's like Jurassic Park or The Mummy Returns, when all you can think is, don't run into the long grass!

Disney is my long grass.

I so just need a break, and I'm thinking I'm defaulting to that because it's my norm.

And there's nothing wrong with that. Not only is it the happiest place on Earth, it's the happy place for many people. I know when things are bad for me and I'm getting stressed, a trip to the world is in order to get me happy again. So go to your happy place if you need to!

BTW - was that a lemon meringue or just a lemon pie?

Our DVR is full of Monster Quest, UFC stuff, Fight Quest, Spartacus, and various anime shows. ALL his.

There are lots of shows we watch together too but the man likes his "guy stuff".

The Rays whipped the Stankees. I hope they do it again today. Though I doubt it since it's hard to beat the best team a lack of salary cap can buy.

I understand. Though to be fair, the local Boston fans are almost just as obnoxious as all the Yankee fans. I'm just annoyed by people who are band wagon followers of who is on top rather than supporting a local team that brings money and jobs into your community... and New Yorkers.

I would love to go, but I'm thinking with the Braxton Hicks, I wouldn't be able to enjoy it like I would normally. Maybe that wouldn't be so bad, setting a slower pace, I don't know.

I'm trying to focus on the trip I want to take after the baby gets here, and hopefully that'll get me out of this funk.

Actually, it was lemon meringue without the meringue. I'm not fond of that part, but I love the lemon flavor, so since it was just for us and DH didn't mind either way, I made lemon pie. Yum.
