Hey everybody. What's happenin'?

I'm just finishing up scripts for work tonight. I haven't done live TV before. I'm just happy that we have very limited viewership and it's a small election with the worst voter turnout ever. So very few people to catch me if I mess up. Most of my friends can't even watch because they either live outside of the city limits or have Direct TV.

What does your Dis Sponsor button mean? I've seen those before and never knew what it meant.

The Dis sponsor button means I donated to Dis at the Bronze level. There are levels all the way up to Platinum(I think) whereas you donate a certain amount of money which helps to maintain the board and keeps the service free of charge. I've been using the Dis for a while now and it's such a great outlet for me -- I figured I would go ahead and contribute a little something. The contribution is good for one year, so next year if I don't contribute I suppose they will take my button away.

Mean Queen - thanks for posting your TR with video. It was great. I knew you wouldn't let us down.

And yes, the sponsor button counts toward siggie space. The button was supposed to go under my user name, but thanks to my tags there wasn't enough space for it. I'm glad they didn't delete them. I had the toughest time trying to find a small enough pic to put there. I'm going to work on getting some of my character pics resized and see if I can put one of those back in.

Hey there - How did live television go last night?

It was interesting. We had the lowest voter turnout ever, only 5% of the city. So that left me with very little results to talk about for the first few breaks. We ended up doing 3 - 4 minute breaks rather than 5 minute since there just wasn't enough to talk about each time. But my work was happy with my job and I don't feel like I embarassed myself.

Morning all! Though afternoon is rapidly approaching. I'm so thrilled with the weather here. It's gotten cool enough to put on jeans and a long sleeve shirt. I have the windows open and a nice breeze is blowing (the dust) through my house. I had to go shopping to buy pants and long sleeve shirts for my girls. I also managed to do some damage at the Target 90% off Halloween stuff. I must resist the urge to go back for more stuff.

I love Target. They have the best clearance. Must ... resist ... Target ... clearance.

Oh and guess, what? I haven't been to bed yet today 'cause I've been out doing a little shopping myself. But I don't have to work tonight so I'll be okay.

My friend loves that show so I got her all the "I Love Jim" stuff I could find. I hit the Dollar Spot today and got some cute squeaky Christmas books. My best deal was a set of 4 large orange plastic tumblers for 9 cents. All four for 9 cents! I bought the 2 packs they had. So 8 glasses for 18 cents! I also got these huge rope handled plastic tubs for 64 cents each. I'm using those for a garage sale this weekend, but then it'll be great for toys.

Hmm...Well, it's 25 degrees here right now (never got above 38 all day) and my heat is running.... My dad called earlier and was telling me that he's going to Tarpon Springs tomorrow for lunch, to meet a friend who's biking the Trail up there from St. Pete!! Must be nice!

Little tiny snow flakes actually fell from the sky when I was at work this morning....

Hmm...Well, it's 25 degrees here right now (never got above 38 all day) and my heat is running.... My dad called earlier and was telling me that he's going to Tarpon Springs tomorrow for lunch, to meet a friend who's biking the Trail up there from St. Pete!! Must be nice!

And that's why we endure the hot Summers. Though I don't think I'd want to bike from St. Pete to Tarpon!!! Driving to Tarpon takes long enough.

Now that it's getting cold up North, I expect to see more of you holed up in your house and on the internet. It's getting lonely in here.
