hmm, Im trying to pick a time to go to wdw next year, halloween appeals to me, because we love halloweens in disneyland paris (but its too cold )
summer, is too warm methinks.
so its probably between easter and halloween.
what do you ladies think?

We had 4 showings in the first two weeks, and a fifth that was a 2nd showing. Nothing came from any of those, but we also just dropped our price to what I feel is much more competitive for our area and the market. If we don't catch someone this fall wanting to get into a place before winter, we ought to sell in the spring. At this point I'm in the mindset that we'll be here through the winter, which has actually let me relax a bit and "live" in our own house!! I'll clean when I have to (other than regular stuff, of course!) when I get notified of a showing.

That is a great attitude to have. Have you been checking on line for houses in Fl.? I hope your selling and buying is a smooth transition for you.

Just working! My oldest DS has a soccer game tonight and my DD has cheer practice, so it looks like we won't be home until after 8:00 tonight.

So, when is your house supposed to be ready?

I know you said you love halloween but how about seeing the Christmas decorations up. Disney is so beautiful decked out for Christmas.

Yeah it was my first trip in 5 years so I wanted to take as many as I could since I was old enough to actually remember it.
Of course I was bored on the car trip there. So alot of them are random signs. haha.

If it's between those two I would vote for Halloween. MUCH bigger crowds at Easter time! Florida weather is still very nice in October, too. We want to do MNSSHP next time we go!

That is a great attitude to have. Have you been checking on line for houses in Fl.? I hope your selling and buying is a smooth transition for you.

Not checking for a house to buy, but I have been looking into rentals. We don't want to get into buying before we've been there a while and know where we really want to be, and make sure DH has a good job. I'm finding some REAL cute rental homes in the Ocala area, though!

Our move in time frame keeps getting moved back. It's looking like feb. now. We really don't mind though. It gives us a little more time to decide what to do with this house.

How are sports going for your kids? Do you like your DD's new cheer gym? My DD wants to get back into cheering. She is thinking about a local open squad. If you have never watched an open squad perform you should. They do not have the same rules as squads through grade 12 and the stunts are incredible. They can do stuff that is illegal for everyone else.

Last year we went in the Sunday after Thanksgiving and stayed the week. The crowd level was fantastic. We were either walking on the rides or had a very low wait time. The temps were I would say the upper 70's to mid 80's. At night I wore a light weight jacket. We are going the same time again this year. We stay at the Wilderness Lodge. (This has become our home away from home) My hubby loves old westerns so this just suites us. All of the resorts are wonderful!! You really can't find a bad place to stay in Disney. (Because it's Disney!!)

Ocala is so beautiful. I think ya'll will be very happy there. I also think that renting first makes a lot of sense. Get a feel for the area. Take your time finding the perfect home!!

I'm glad things are working out for your DD at the new gym. And woohoo for her and her backhand spring!! I hope you do get a chance to see an open squad sometime. (and I hope it is a good one) The best one we ever say was Top Gun from Charlotte NC. The only thing I can say is WOW!! The ages on an open are, out of high school and up.

I guess around 4 or 5 years now. I'm NOT one of these super-fancy scrappers - I mean, my word I've seen some pages that look like family heirlooms! Which of course that's why you scrap, but still...! I just like to have fun preserving my photos. Most of them are family photos, but some are scenic (I like to do nature photography). I can't believe I haven't touched the Disney photos yet, but I'll probably do the entire album over that weekend! Scrapbooking is a lot of fun and *WARNING*: very addicting once you start!!

One of my best friends is one of "those" scrappers. I call her a scrap snob. She's on design teams for scrap sites, works at a scrap store, and has been published a few times (including ones using my cuties!) She's also the one that spent $1,000 a month on scrap supplies and doesn't understand my obsession with Disney. Yet, I still love her. Personally, I'm too lazy and unorganized to be a good scrapper. I've done a bit, but I get so far behind it becomes too overwhelming and no longer fun.
