ot: my 3mo old is wearing a 12mo. outfit

dh will be returning from a 15 month deployment so he will be home for a bit. He has to go away to school in Ga for two months because he was promoted to E7 over a year ago but since he has been deployed he couldnt go to school yet and we were told they are deploying again after their 12 months of being home are up. I am hoping something changes in Iraq and that they dont end up deploying back so soon. And your right he is a good hubby and thank goodness he shares my love of Disney. I couldnt imagine being married to someone who didnt love Disney like I do lol

Generally it seems you have to be caught saying something stupid or funny. So far, I guess I've been neither. I've been watching your thread about your DH and Mickey. I think that is so great. Your DH has to be a real man and a true daddy to pose with a stuffed animal.

Does anyone else wonder why they call them sleepovers when the kids never sleep? My DD has a friend over and I keep reminding them this is a "SLEEPover." They are to SLEEP overnight... and not get up at the butt crack of dawn. Luckily, tomorrow is DH's turn to get up early with the kids since I have a feeling I'll be wrangling children for awhile longer.

I know what u mean. The last time my dd had a friend over the friend would not go to sleep. My dd finally went to sleep but this lil girl wouldnt and she insisted she had watch tv , when I turned the tv off she pulled the whole I want to go home routine. Well it was 3am so needless to say I turned the tv back on for her and she was happy and I laid in bed tossed and turned wishing I had ear plugs and started planning my excuse for the next time my dd wanted to invite that friend over. I should have known when they flipped the barbie power wheels jeep over within 10 minutes of the friend arriving that I was in for a long night lol

I never could go to sleep right away when I worked late nights. I always ended up getting my schedule all messed up... going to sleep at 4 a.m. and waking up around noon, just in time to go to work again.

yep..thats what almost always ends up happening, I fall asleep around 3 and had to be up by 9:30 to get into work @ 11:00 .... Im tired! I have to pull another 12 hour shift! This job is really turning me off the idea of nursing! (i work in a hospital ER in the registration dept)

WOOOHOOO! Well, the .15 fish is dead. It's all my fault since we didn't get a little green fish net(or so my DD informed me). I cleaned everything out, set everything up again, filled with water and turned on the filter. Tomorrow we'll get another fishie.

I'm not surprised. We went through the same thing with my DD when we got a fair fish. We went through 18 fish before we got one that lived more than a few days. Then that darn fish lived for over a year, with DH and I doing all the feeding and cleaning. I was so happy when that fish finally died. It kept teasing us too. It'd go belly up, then when we went to get it out to "bury it", it'd start swimming away! That fish was like a cat, it had 9 lives. I hope your DD gets over her fish death and enjoys the new one.

We had a bunch of baby fish in the pond at the beginning of summer and now we have ZERO!! I think our now giant catfish got them!! So he's not really a giant, but is about 4 times the size he was when we got him in June!
