oh my god im so glad my sisters party is over, taking care of 22 eight year olds is not good

I take care of 1 8 year old girl on a daily basis, I can't imagine 22 of those concentrated in one area and hyped up on sugar. You are a good brother to brave that!

Welcome to the board. Sometimes I think we should change the name of the group to "Not caught saying something stupid... yet" But that's a bit long. May you soon be caught, tagged and released into the wild.. if that is your wish.

You know, there was a thread the other day about the guy who has to give up his family "heirloom" of a mummified baby, and of course then the jabs at NH started (that's where this guy lives) and how it's backwoods and all that...

They are 100% abso-freakin'-lutely right...

Someone in our neighborhood suddenly decided - at 8 o'clock at night - Hey, I think I'll cut some wood! And so as I'm getting my kids ready for bed, I'm listening to the whine of a chainsaw....

It's still 70 degrees!...It's NOT going to be even "chilly" tonight that he needs some firewood for the stove!! What could possibly possess a person to need to cut wood at this hour!!??

If I still hear it at 9:00 I'm calling the police...I hate doing that and I've put up with a lot of crap in this neighborhood because I hate to call, but this is ridiculous... If my DH was home this guy would be getting a personal visit!

ETA: What if it's not wood he's cutting at all....

Go to Edit Profile under Quick Links and there's a spot in the second boxes. The box said something about "optional" something or other. It will get rid of the Dis Veteran part and replace it with your own tag. Many of us have created our own.

Im just glad it was a nice day, i could send them out to the yard to play
seemingly yesterday was billie pipers birthday as well, and i missed a day of doctor who , but i think next year if she decides to have a pirate/princess costume party, ill ban all forms of plastic swords and weapons...
