Ooooohhhhh my new word of the day.....![]()
I used to have to do that.... During thunderstorms. We had an old dog once, and he was the greatest thing in every way except he was terrified of storms. Now, that's not such an uncommon thing with dogs, but this dog couldn't just sit and cower or hide under something. No, he had to wander ALL over the house, and he leaked pee as he went... So, there's me with the disinfectant spray and roll of paper towels, following him around until the storm was over....
.
Use it in conversation three times and then conjugate it. (Wait a sec--you can't conjugate an adverb)
I come here in search of a tag, and I get all this cat talk?
I could use a new tag, anywho. AND MAKE IT GREEN OR ELSE I'LL MAKE YOUR FACE GREEN.
Oh wait, no...
... made no sense. Sorry.![]()
Cat talk?!?!!....that's nothing - you should have been last night for the in-depth pee discussion!![]()
Like I say to all new-comers on this thread, we're an odd lot, but we have fun and you are more than welcome to join in!!
I see you are like us now, tagged but wanting more! My latest quest is for a scrolling/animated tag.... Greedy, I know, but I can't help it.![]()

My oldest just said, "Mom, I am starving.." I calmly replied while catching up on this thread, "You are also wittistically challenged but that doesn't seem to concern you."
He stood there for a couple of minutes and walked away. Maybe he is online looking that word up?![]()

I'm glad you started your day with a good belly laugh. We all need to relieve pressure every now and then.By the way seeing your kitty yesterday really has me wanting one.
I wonder if this thread will come up, since we made up the word in the original thread (pre-tags)? I'll trade you one "I won't eat that" child for your "I'm starving."

I just can't help myself. You are some of my favorite friends... I don't even care if I look good or not when we visit!![]()
I think that you have thought this decision out and are making the best decision for you and your family for this period in your life. Don't let anyone make you feel wrong for it. We went to one income when my children were young because I was against daycare for infants. It was a struggle and one of the hardest things I ever did. I also found out I was not good at it and was very ready to go back to work when my youngest was 3. Hang in there and remember that we are always here for you.
For some odd reason this picture reminds me of Alice in Wonderland. Go figure...![]()

You all scared me a little bit... I thought that whole releaving pressure thing was going to take us down another body function thread and I am not sure I am ready for that on a Monday.![]()
Yes, but not one new scrolling tag to be had.
I get excited if I ONLY see three flakes!!![]()

Awww...!!Or, as Smileybug would put it, we wuv you too!
Thanks... Do you like my new shoes?
Thanks for the encouragement...I love being home. I hated to have to get a job last fall. I like what I do, and if I have to work, that is the place I want to be! But I would so rather be home. Being home definitely has its challenges (esp. trying to home school DS11, who's wired like me and we butt heads allll the time...) but I just love being a stay-home mom. When I think, DS11 is turning twelve this year...and I don't know where that time has gone, and in six short years he'll be 18....In the whole span of my life, that's a blip on the screen, y'know??
I do know. I think part of my problem with it was that I was feeling very trapped in a sinking marriage and this gave him even more control. Now I am home when i need to be and still work... so it is a happy balance for me and when the market is down, I am also as broke as can be!![]()
Now, if his head and eyes suddenly disappear leaving just a grin (or tongue, as the case may be!).....
When I looked at the picture it looked like a huge door and a swollen cat's head coming out of the top of it.... like Alice swelling up in the house
Too funny!! How old is he?! I'm trying to picture the look on his face. When you can silence your child with one simple statement, it's a good one!![]()

Glad I wasn't the only one who was thinking of Pooh's happy hearts when I heard "relieving pressure."
