I see you also appreciated that Guitar Hero commercial. I think I've decided to cancel my Rock Band deposit and put it towards the next Guitar Hero instead.

And I'm a married woman!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I wanted that SOOO bad for dinner tonight! But we didn't have any....:sad2: So I had to settle for tomato Cup-a-Soup. Hot and steamy, but not quite the same, y'know?!

Can you send me some? I don't have a cold. But homemade soup sounds wonderful!! How is everything going?

I hope you have a restful evening. :goodvibes

I would send you some homemade soup, but, I'm afraid that it would thaw by the time it got to you.

Come back, come back where ever you are. Where have you been hiding? How are you feeling? You have been missed.

Good morning youself!

:hippie:

It's Friday!!!

I know Mean Queen's headed for Disney this weekend; anyone else have any holiday weekend plans?

My cold is better but not gone. Now DS8 has it, too... Lovely! Not sure how that will play out for our camping trip. Right now I'm thinking maybe he and I will head up Sunday morning and just do one night, and DH can take the other two tomorrow as planned. It's good for dads and sons to have Guys Night Out once in a while anyway, right?!...:rotfl:

Hey LegoMon. I'm glad you are rethinking your plans. I have been a little worried aout you camping with such a bad cold. And now that your son has it. Your plan sounds like a good one. :thumbsup2 We don't really have any plans. My DD has been at a beach house all week with friends and won't be home until monday. We may go to my Nieces lake house one day. If we do the boys may go with us and take their jet skies. (But they are out on their jet skies somewhere every weekend) But other than that it will be more yard work. We had some pretty serious storms this past week and we have a tree down in the front yard that has to be cleaned up as well as a lot of limbs.

I'm meeting my brother at the house he is buying at 8:30am to do a walk through. The closing is at 9:30 and then the major scrubbing of the giant ashtray begins. My kids have the day off from school today so they are going to help. Wouldn't you know it, the only time we don't go camping for Memorial Day weekend and the kids have a workshop today. I always had to pick them up early. I drove by the house at 10pm last night and the guy that has been living there since his father died, was standing in the doorway. He was still there!:scared1: I hope he is gone this morning like he is supposed to be. He is know around town for losing every job he's ever had and mouching off his family. He moved into this house when his Dad died. We have had so many people comment about trying to get him out. They would say good luck getting him out of there, he doesn't want to leave his free place to stay. Cross your fingers.

LegoMom, if you and your son are not feeling well, staying home an extra night to rest may be a good idea.

Wow...I hope that guy is gone. But after 9:30 he has no rights to be there. Fingers are crossed for ya'll. I've got to leave in a little while to get my grocery shopping done. Hope the store isn't crowded yet.

Morning all!!!! I think a Guys Night Out sounds like something good for the guys and you and your sick son. Everyone would be miserable if you went camping while sick. Get better soon!

That sounds like a fun weekend. I used to love Jet Skiing. But going to the beach with little ones is a real pain. You think you bring a lot of gear for a theme park, a beach is worse since you need shade for the little ones.

I hope that guy is long gone by now! Though your day of scrubbing doesn't sound like much fun.

Happy Friday morning to all!

Looking forward to the long weekend. The BF and I are hoping the forecast for Monday is right as we have plans to had down to Bretton Point in Newport, RI (about 25min. from our house in Southeastern, MA) and spend the day with a blanket and the sun...and the 758 other people who have the same idea as us! Right now I'm hearing sunny and 80 for Monday, though I'm sure it'll be cooler by the ocean where we'll be.

MeanQueen - have a lovely Disney weekend. Oh how I wish I could be spending weekends at Disney. The other night the BF and I were talking about living in different places and I mentioned Orlando (shocker, I know) and said something about proximity to Disney. He said, "Yeah, but we'd never be there." And I promptly corrected him, "YOU'D never be there. Let's not be silly and include me in that statement." (BF's NOT a Disney fan.)

LegoMom - I hope you continue to feel better and I hope your little man is quickly on the mend as well. A restful weekend sounds good for you both.

SadieDog - good luck with the "ashtray cleaning"!

Silly boy. He'll learn to love Disney or at least accept your love of it, if he knows what's good for him.

Congrats on your tag! I noticed you got it yesterday in the "Where's the Tag Fairy?" thread. :rotfl2:

Keep working on him. A man can be swayed by his woman!....:rotfl: Trust me, I know.

I guess it helps that my DH is also a Disney fan to begin with, but there was a time when he would never, ever consider living in the South. Now??....well, suffice it to say, when we are finally able to sell this house, we're headed for Florida! Not Orlando, though; too big of a city for us. We're headed for Ocala, a bit further north but a very easy jaunt down the Turnpike to the World!
