Hey DO! Watcha been up to? It does seem like a while since you've been around....

.

Yeah, I know. It's a combination of 3rd shift kicking my butt and planning a Vegas trip. I'm still struggling sleep wise and in my free time surfing the net I'm visiting the Vegas board. I belong to a Vegas board similar to Dis and of course you know how addicting it can be. I miss you guys though.

Hey you!! So how is the planning coming? I know you can't wait.:goodvibes

If I was planning a Vegas trip, I'd be on a Vegas board too. I spent a lot of time on Cruise Critic last year when we were planning two cruises. It's fun to do research to get hyped up. I saw a show on the Travel Channel last night, Sin City for Adults. It talked about the burlesque shows and the more risque Cirque de Soleil shows. Then DH got upset because it'll be a while before we go back and turned. :rotfl2:

GOOD MORNING YA'LL

Oh dear....are you feeling trapped today Smiley?!!....

Oh well fine then....:snooty: Leave us for your Vegas friends. Yep, it's ok, we'll be just fine without you.....

Hey LegoMom. How is your day going? No need to ask about mine. :rotfl2: I did pre order the 2009 PassPorter refill kit this morning. :thumbsup2

DeterminedOne...There was an artical in this months PassPorter news about Vegas. It was pretty interesting. I bet planning a Vegas trip is pretty mind bogling. There is just sooooo much to do and see.

I am tag deprived. :lmao:

Is that deprived or depraved?

I SAW THEM ON AN AD ON TV!!!!!!!!
And SO HELP me we'd better have them around here! :scared:

.

Didn't I send you some earlier?

I sent an email to our local supermarket that has nutritionists. I finally got an email back from them today. I'm going to call tomorrow and make an appointment to talk with them about what I should eat/not eat.

So, apparently something happened to spring.... like it left New England!!! It was SO cold around here today, even the evening news said we had "late October" temperatures. For crying out loud.....

We are going camping this weekend and I dare say we may be running the furnace at night! We actually managed to get a site at our regular campground (I only spoke with them today!). They had several sites still open so I think more people are staying home this holiday weekend. This place isn't too far from us (just over an hour's drive) so in that respect we're fortunate to be in NH. Now I'm on a mission to get the pop-up cleaned up and ready and make sure we have everything we need packed up in it! Then I have to plan our menus....:headache: Not as easy as it would seem!

I'm also finally making a sign for our camper!! If you camp, you've probably seen wooden signs on people's campers with their last name and sometimes where they're from. I'm making one and using a Disney font I found on-line! Then I'll put mouse ears and a few other related designs around the edge. Cool!

.

I would never desert you gals ... and guys. :goodvibes Yes the trip planning is fun and I'm addicted to it. I admit it. I'm getting ready to book airfare through Air Tran. We've never flown with them before but they have the best offer at approx. $200 per person. The flight is nonstop but we are flying out of Indy, approx. two hours away. It costs double to fly from where we live.

Have a good night all. I'm off to get ready for work.

You need to hang out at the chatty Idol thread more. The Tag Fairy keeps popping up there.

I'm hoping to be on there tonight. Seems like most of the time I sit at the computer, I have to hurry off for one reason or another. Of course when the kids get home from school, I either have to drive someone around or let them have it for school work. So pleave forgive the errors I may make in my rush. :lmao: I try to catch most of them.

We usually go camping this weekend, but my brother is closing on his 1st house Friday and my DD has prom Sunday. I do not like that our school schedules prom Sunday on Memorial Day weekend every year. The best part is that my brothers house is walking distance from me.:thumbsup2 Only a short 2/10 of a mile or when we get the golf cart fixed, a quick zip down the road. I will be very busy this weekend starting with going with my brother to his closing Friday morning and then the major cleaning begins. The person in the house now smokes inside A LOT. It smells like an ashtray. Every inch must be scrubbed.

Wow, you have a busy weekend ahead. What does your DD's dress look like? I love seeing kids dressed up for prom.

Good morning everyone!! Hey DO. SadieDog, I hope your DD has an incredible time at the prom!!

It is a very dark pink, kind of raspberry. It ties around the neck (do they call that halter top?) which is very good b/c it allows for a good fit. There is bead work in the halter. At $95 it was the least expensive we could find. It was hard to find anything that fit. She's about a size 2 and most everything was too big. For instance, JC Penney did not even have 1 dress that fit.

The dress sounds pretty and not a bad price. Your DD must be tiny. I don't think I've been a size 2 since I was in middle school. Granted I'm 5'11", so I'd be dead or a super model if I was a size 2.

Or Nicole Kidman.

At 5'11" you certainly should NOT be a size 2. My DD feels short at 5'5". She was hoping to be taller b/c my husband is over 6 feet. He has one brother that is 6'6" and his sister is 6 feet so she was hoping for a few more inches. However, she should feel lucky, I am only 5' 1 1/2" so I feel like an ant when I am with my inlaws.:lmao:
