kimmar--I posted over there. I am so sorry this happened to you.
..That is beyond rotten. I hope you get SOME sort of closure to this. Keep your eyes and ears open at school I guess, as well as around the neighborhood. Often a perpetrator will be 'watching' to get some sick satisfaction from your reaction. You just never know.
.
wow i'm sorry kimmar
ok i have a totally off topic, well maybe not, question for anyone that would like to answer;
i would love to have a guitar, however my teenage butt is flat broke. sooooooooo i was thinking of asking for it for christmas. but how do you hint at something so big like that? i would like santa *cough cough mom cough cough cough* to pick up on it but i'm not even sure how to let her- er santa know
any advice?
Kimmar, I posted on the other thread, too.
IWBTLD, I would do something like Mean Queen suggested with the letter to Santa. That would be adorable. And if you're worried about price, maybe you can find one second hand? It might help to do a little research beforehand and that way your mom will have an idea of the cost.
Happy Monday, folks!
I'm basically trying to decide what to do today. We were such couch potatoes yesterday, although I did get out for a really nice walk. It got up to 64 degrees here! I was in heaven. I wish that I lived in a place where I could take my walks outdoors year round.
In theory, I could, but I'd have to bundle up something fierce in the winter months.![]()
It was sunny and 80 here yesterday!! Cooling off this week to the lower 70s.
.
Tell your mom. Or be very cute and write a letter to Santa and give it to your mom. I'm sure if they can afford it, they'd prefer to get you something you really want and would use rather than something you will throw aside after a few minutes.

We're doing that same thing here right now! My boys are very into the guitar thing. We went to a few local pawn shops and found one with a very nice and very knowlegable salesman. My DS10 just bought himself a nice starter electric guitar for $50. DS13 is saving up for one that costs a bit more, but the general price range was about $50 - $150. They have acoustics, too, of course. Might be worth checking into. If you don't have a lot of pawn shops where you live, try to find a good music store. Many times they have used instruments that were taken in trade.

The high here today is 75. It will be in the 70s all week. Just sayin'--South and North Carolina are great choices.
I was talking to my mom the other day and she's getting a little burnt out at work so we were discussing other jobs and of course I told her she could always do the same work for Disney and we'd have Disney benefits. I said casually that she should move to Florida and she said "hmm i'll think about it". !!!!That would be amazing!
She could get a small house in Florida for what she pays for an apartment in San Diego!
IWasBornToLoveDisney I see in your siggie that you think LLamas are the coolest land mammals in the world. DD & I work with alpacas & llamas. They are pretty cool.

Yes, well, we have Disney. Our highs are still low 80's, but it feels very nice. Just wish it was a little cooler so I could turn my A/C off for good.
I have a friend from another message board (non-Disney) who's husband got offered a job at Disney. They were thinking about it! Thinking? A good high paying job with Disney and you have to think? Those odd non-Disney people.
