Good morning everyone. My dogs water is ice this morning. Soon I will have to bring their water bowl inside. That means big slobbery mess everyday. A towel around the bowl helps. Off to get ready for daycare. I think only 10 kids today instead of 12.

...no one with swine flu, I hope...:scared:

I guess I'm a half hour too late to encourage you to post three more times.

Honestly, I was falling asleep at the computer so I took the hint and went to bed!

But now I'm back, and I see there are already plenty of posts this morning for me to non-multi-quote.....

Here I go!!!....

Thanks guys. I feel bad because I really don't want to hurt his feelings. I've never really dated before (how sad is that?!) so i'm not sure what the protocol for these types of things are. All I know is that i'm already cool enough WITHOUT the drugs haha

Come on Tag Fairy we need some new tags!

You are obviously a gal with her head on straight and you are SO doing the right thing (although I have nothing to offer in the way of "how"!). You have so much to look forward to with your career pursuits. The rest of "life" will fall into place as it's meant to!:goodvibes

*Phew!*......glad that's over!

Now, my next goal is to have my countdown ticker be under the 1-year mark. Sadly, all I can do about that is sit and watch it.....:surfweb:

Morning, everyone!

Smiley, so glad you decided to add a day on to your trip. That solves that!

LegoMom, I love your horse! He's beautiful! He can be beautiful, right? Just gorgeous. And he sounds like he's adjusting quite nicely. And congrats on your 5,000th post! Woot!

See, hon, you did the right thing. I was lucky that when I was in college, my friends were all accepting of my straight laced status. Neither I, nor my husband, indulged in any of the things they did, but fortunately, everyone was cool with that and just accepted it. I wouldn't want to be around someone who couldn't, or who needed to participate in that kind of thing all the time. It's just ridiculous. Welcome to reality, you know? Anyway, I'm proud of you. :thumbsup2

I hope everyone had a nice Halloween. Sorry to those who didn't get a lot of trick or treaters, that is a bummer.

We had a great time. My DS was a ghost. Cheapest costume I've ever had for him. My Nana gave us an old sheet and voila! :goodvibes

He must have been so cute. My daughter was a ghost once when she was little. I always made their costumes. Much cheaper and they always looked great.

Well reality is biting me in the butt with full force.....OUCH!

So right about now I'm thinking that I should have done the solo trip....:headache: LOVE the horse, I really do....But let's just say that I was in my late 20s when I last owned a horse and now I'm a tad older than that. It's been a looong time. I've been away from it for so long that I'm wondering if I've lost my groove. Horses are living creatures with a mind of their own and they're BIG. In the 2 days he's been here he's bolted on me (ran up the driveway and ended up in a neighbor's yard - thankfully NOT their garden!!!) and spooked several times, the most recent event resulting in him spooking INTO me and knocking me to the ground. His knee smashed into mine in the process. Guess who's knee is harder?!!

I don't have health insurance yet and I do NOT need a trip to the ER. My knee is fine but I'm really, really needing that sort of thing to not be happenin', y'know? I know he needs time to settle in but here's hoping he's not a spooky horse by nature. I'm just too old for that sort of thing anymore..... Physically, when you're in your 20s, you bounce back much quicker. Mentally, you're usually pretty bold and unafraid of the unknown. At "30-13", I find I have retained neither of those qualities!:rotfl:

:banana::banana:Congratulations! :banana::banana:

...and, speaking of 'a small fortune', my DS spent a lot to make HIS costume - but, he looked so RAD!! (...he was the Geico caveman! :rotfl2: )
