I am excited and anxious.. I have to fly on business and I HATE to fly!!! But excited that I am going away on a business trip!!

Now about flying? I have flown twice now and I HATE it! How can i get over this is there something I can take?

Take some sleep easy (dipahydramine - tylenol PM without the tylenol). It depends on how the long the flight is though because that's a pill to make you sleepy, not relaxed. I don't know if they have anti-anxiety pills that aren't prescription...

Hope you're all having a happy Thursday. I actually went to help out a different branch today and oh my word what a difference. Friendly co-workers, very laidback, very nice.

Sooooo different from my current branch. I think sometimes we don't realize how stressful a place is until we get a taste of something else.

Your DD will do great though. Community college is a smart choice. I did that for a semester and got some of the core classes out of the way for cheap and in a small classroom. Good luck to your family!

Lucky you! I wish he was part of my American Idol week of concerts last week. I saw the Idol tour, David Archuleta (opened for Demi Lovato), and Daughtry.

Congrats to all those going to college. It's so important to get that extra education.

I've been busy at work this week with election forums. Now I have to get to planning my DD's 10th birthday party this weekend.

I know exactly what you mean. I once worked in an office with some horrible back stabbing women. AWFUL enviroment. That's when I became a SAHM.

If I had that option, I'd jump at it. Right now I carry our health insurance, and I just found out the golden nugget that my company is switching providers. We have no idea of the types of plans they'll offer yet. Very frustrating, we'll have to wait until fall and open enrollment to find out.

Well peeps, this is it! Tomorrow morning we leave for the great state of Texas!

I'll be off Internet for a while. Not sure when the Dish people will be able to come hook us up. I may pop in tomorrow night from the hotel....I love using the free Wi-Fi with my laptop!

It was pretty difficult, but I didn't make much anyway. Since I worked part time, much of my check went to daycare. My daughter and I could not get insurance thru my work or my husbands work. Hmmmm, years later and health insurance is still an issue. My husband's Co. changes providers every few years. Good luck, I hope they offer you a decent plan.

we are going camping in Branson Mo. and going to silver dollar city.

I was packing last night and dh told me to pack something nice???? I asked why he sd to just do it no questions..HHHMMMMM what could he be planning?? our anniversary is next week not this week....

....he was so awesome!!! The band that warmed up for them was really good, too. They are Green Dance Ordinance - they have a new CD out; one of their songs is kinda 'famous'...it's called On Your Own, which is the song that's played on SYTYCD when a contesant leaves and they show a 'recap' of that contestant:

Good morning.

I woke up at 6:15am. TOO EARLY. The cats and dogs are fed so I am sitting here at the computer and drinking coffee. Kind of like this except I have more hair. I threw some laundry in, but don't want to start vacuuming until my husband gets up.

Wow, I don't think it is going to rain today. It will stay in the 70's.
