I will find that picture I took of Epcot in the picture taken of me taking a picture. If that makes any sense.

:thumbsup2 It's in the pictures you posted.

:lmao::rotfl2:....This would have been perfect for a Monday morning, but I just saw it and couldn't wait that long!!!...

AWWW. . .That looks like Mickey. (My kitty)

....uhhhhh, nope.

Get with it, kimmar--read slowly!

Okay, so Mean Queen knows, so you all should know--dh and I are looking at DVC. That is why she posted the pictures of Bay Lake Towers. Only, sorry, Mean Queen, but dh is really sold on the Animal Kingdom Villas. Which is fine with me--that, of course, puts to rest any thoughts of a December trip. He wants to be responsible and keep our bills to a level that if one of us lost our job, we could pay the bills. That's perfectly okay with me. So now we are looking at going next August as DVC members (hopefully). The problem, of course, will be obtaining a HELOC in this economy after we pull our one unsecured debt to a $0 balance.

Oh, and whether or not we are members, we are going to do AKV for our next trip--our kids are getting older and we really have to have more space for them. Plus, I want a kitchen and laundry room for our next trip--perhaps we can go without the dining plan.

HI SMILEYBUG!!!!!!!

Just want to be sure that you know you're missed when we don't see you for a while!:grouphug:

Happy Thursday everyone! I'm off to get some groceries because the four males living in my house have left the fridge and pantry bare....:headache:

.

Thanks LegoMom. :goodvibes

Males leaving the pantry and frig bare. :scared1: Surely you jest. :rotfl2:

I agree with Legomom, we miss you when you are gone, Smileybug!

The boys empty out the cupboards? :scared1: Surely you jest!

Actually, we have decided to nickname our son, "Goat". Because he mows through everything available in the house.

Thanks creativeamanda. I have been really busy. By time evening rolls around.....I just like to spend time with the hubby and which ever kid graces us with their presence. :rotfl:

And by the way....Congratulations on the DVC!!:woohoo::banana:

Does anyone think people would notice if I strangled my 13 year old? OMG, she is driving me NUTS. I can't get away from her, we are together 24/7 except when she is with her dad everyother weekend. She doesn't go with him till next Friday. We can't sneeze without the other one hearing.............:headache: And, of course, she's a teen and loves to do anything that will annoy mom. Thirty-three more days till I start work at the school. Thirty-four days till school starts.

You could totally feign an insanity plea. :rolleyes1

Just MHO.

Well, I had to make a large purchase today I had not planned on. Apparently, the computer I got in November is not sufficient to run the programs I need for video and photo editing. Photo editing is a huge part of my home-based business. So, you know what I did. I took out the credit card we are supposed to be paying off today. I got a top-of-the line PC, because laptops aren't a good option for this. 2.6 GHz processor, 8GB Memory, and 1TB hard drive. It's above the recommended system requirements for the editing software I need to use. Now I have to work to pay that off. . .:headache:

Oh well, it's worth it when my son gets his scrapbooks off the shelf and looks at them. Once dh asked him why he looked at them so often. His reply was "because they make me happy".

*sigh*.....ahem:

Hello, my name is LegoMom, and I'm addicted to Bugles corn snacks.

creativeamanda - WOW on the computer!!! I don't even want to know what a "TB" hard drive is....

I haven't scrap-booked since coming to FL....Can you say "withdrawal" ?!! I cannot wait to get set up in Texas, though....there is this WAY cool computer workstation desk that's there in the house. We've been told that anything that's in the house that we need, can stay. Anyway, this thing is huge. It has four different sections - two on the top and two bases. One side is perfect for the computer, and the other side has a big stack of built-in drawers and a nice big work space for scrap booking!!! I've already claimed it!:rotfl:

A TB means Terrabyte. In other words, a 1TB hard drive is equal to 1000 Gigabytes. It's double the size of the other desktop which dh has claimed. A few hours, and I have already moved my pictures onto it. That ends up being almost 10,000 photographs (about 30 GB worth). These are mainly pictures since I got my first digital camera in 2003. So you can imagine the quantity of pictures I take!

As for that scrapbooking area--it would be mine if that were my house! That just sounds wonderful space-wise. I have a great storage wall in my house, but all of the scrapbooking itself gets done on the table.

I love my scrapbooking area, though--eventually we plan to build onto the house, though, and I get a scrapbooking room when that happens. The plans are to do it if/when we get National Board certification because that means a big pay increase for both of us.

When you get to the house, you have to post pictures of that area, Legomom! I wanna see it!

You know, I realized last night I never posted pictures of the new kitties. Here they are:

This is Goofy--

And Mickey--who has decided that I am his pet. . .

And my new computer--I think I can see the monitor. :rotfl2:

And Legomom--this is my scrapbooking corner/closet/home office area. Kind of cramped, but I move out into the dining room table, which is where I took the 2nd picture from.

Happy Friday, everyone!

Creativeamanda, congrats on considering DVC. And you know what, if the computer is something you're using for your business, can you write it off come tax time? Something to maybe help soften the blow.

PAMom, sorry you're having a hard time with your daughter. The teen years are not something I look forward to with great relish. :lmao:

LegoMom, we get those same corn chips at the Dollar Tree! My son loves them. :thumbsup2

Well, I had a great day at work, but a horrific evening. I was attempting to use the Costco Auto Buying program to buy a car. Quite frankly I was ready to buy a car. Long story short, I walked out so disgusted that I will not be dealing with that dealership every again.

I work in banking. I know what loan regulations are. If we don't follow them, and treat our customers a certain way, we can be heavily fined. Everyone should be held to those standards and I shouldn't have been treated the way I was treated by their "business manager." I had no problem with the salesman but once the finance guy took over I get this feeling in the pit of my stomach. I don't want to bore you all with details but he was rude, condescending, and really tainted the whole experience for me. Quite frankly, I don't even know if I'll pursue buying at another dealership right now, I'm so disgusted. :headache:

Happy Friday!!!

creativeamanda - I have that monitor!!! Don't you love it?!....it's great for photos. Your kitties are so cute! Oh, and I'm sorry, but I have to concur with PaMom....where's the Disney picture?...huh?...HUH?!!:rotfl:

TK - SO sorry about your car-buying foray. That stinks. Did you tell the guy off before you left?!...I would have been in his face with the fact that you're on the "inside" of that whole business and knew what's what.... What a dolt.:headache: You would think in this economy that they would be doing everything they could to attract customers, not drive them away!!

Hey ya'll. :goodvibes

I had a long chatty post written out to all of you. When I hit the submit button I was logged out and it didn't post. That is starting to happen a little to often. I'm not even going to try to re-write it. So ......GOOD MORNING!! That's all I have left. :rotfl:Oh, and have a great day!!

Whenever I write a long post, I always "copy" the text before I hit the submit button! That way if I lose it, I can just go back to the Reply box and "paste" everything right back in there. I've lost too many lengthy chats that way and I've learned my lesson!!:headache:
