...are we twins????

Make that "triplets!"...

I am always behind the camera....it bugs my MIL no end when I send family pics and there are none of me! Actually, when we went to BG recently, I did have DS7 and DH take a couple pics of me. When I got home and saw them, I was reminded why I never do that....:scared:

What I want to know is, does the camera truly add 10 pounds??....

.

....right. And I look exquisite...

You are pretty and have a nice smile. I'm usually in the middle of saying something and look awful.

I asked my daughter to take pics when we were in Memphis once b/c I wanted to be in some. Being a teenager, she refused to use 2 hands to steady the camera so they are all blury. UGH There would have actually been a few decent pics of me if they were not blury.

I wish the camera could add a few pounds to me. I need a little more weight in my face.

I don't see an "open house" area but I found photos. Are you kissing an alpaca?

Actually, an alpaca on the does kiss me on the nose. She's an odd female alpaca, the females usually run away.

....right. And I look exquisite...

You don't look like a Kimmar. I pictured you differently. Tall, blonde, leggy. Same hairdo though.

Ditto. Although the first thing that went through my mind, was that you don't look as sinister as you often write....
Y'know, ulterior motives and aces up the sleeve and such....

...oh, you must be thinking of how I look BEFORE my first cup of coffee in the morning...

Okay, ladies, take note of my new ticker. Although TK says she can't keep up with me. Wughevah. Anyway, I'm going the first few days in October (1-5) for free dining. This is a solo trip--dh crushed the feelings of mean-mommy-itis for not taking the kids by this being my combination 13th anniversary (Aug 3) and 35th bday present (Aug 30). This gives me time to plan (2 months--YIKES!) and time to get the class I teach 1/2 day settled for the 3 days I'll be gone.

So, here's my ? for Mean Queen: this is my packing list for clothes--am I way off?
5 t-shirts
1 tank top
4 pairs of shorts
2 pairs of capris
1 lightweight jacket
1 pair of jeans
1 pair tennis shoes
1 pair crocs
1 pair flip flops
2 pairs undies for each day
2 pairs socks for each day
1 bra for each day
1 set pjs
1 swimsuit
1 swimsuit coverup

Am I way off base?

That looks perfect. The beginning of October is usually still pretty hot and humid, but sometimes it can get cooler (as in might reach the high 70's at night). So it is a good idea to have a light jacket and a pair of jeans, just in case. We're not doing MNSSHP this year for the first time in many years. With a 3 and 10 year old, the cost is too much.

Kimmar - I also didn't picture you like that. You always describe yourself as so old, I expected to see someone all wrinkly and gray rather than dark haired and smooth skinned.

My kids have also been driving me crazy this week. They just can't get along with each other or me. DH and I went out with friends tonight for a nice kid-free night to recover from the week.

...my smooth skin and I thank you very much....however, my 80-yr-old knees have something else in mind altogether....

Good morning ya'll. :goodvibes

I'm sorry I have been missing all the chatter lately. But my days seem to be so full. Then by evening I just want to be a couch potatoe and fight hubby for the remote. Maybe I have more energy than I thought......have ya'll ever battled your hubby for the remote?:rotfl2:

Quick good mornin' y'all! We're heading to the zoo today.

Smileybug, we've missed your banter. How much more effort does it take to type than push buttons on the remote?..:confused3

<----doesn't have a hubby. :sad1:

...I've given up THAT battle a LONG TIME AGO.....

Then I guess it's good you didn't post a picture of your knees with Minnie Mouse. ;)

I think we're hitting the pool today. I realized I have yet to do any sort of trip report for my cruise. Maybe I should get on that. Though I also have a birthday party to plan for DD. We're doing a mall scavenger hunt. They will get clues about stores in the mall, then have to do tasks once they get to the store. For example, buy 10 items for $10 (I provide the money.) Then those items will end up being their goody bag items and prizes.

Good morning ya'll. :goodvibes

Yippy, woohoo.....and all that stuff. I get to go grocery shopping in the rain.:banana::banana:

And if ya'll really believe the excitement in that I have a lake in Fl. that is gator free....yep, gator free - for sale. :rotfl:

Have good one ya'll.

Good Monday morning!!

Pouring rain with thunder here this morning! It actually feels "cool" outside.

Went to the zoo yesterday - what a NICE place!! It was mobbed due to being $5 admission day, but we had fun and still managed to see everything. It was also overcast most of the day which kept the searing heat down.

Found out last night, too, that my in-laws are coming to FL after all! A very good friend of theirs gave them some funds to make the trip, knowing how much they wanted to. They are coming the weekend before we leave, but since we never really unpacked here, we don't have much to do anyway. They want to do Busch Gardens with us!! MUST get MIL to the beach, after the so-called "summer" they've had up north this year....:sad2:
