OMG, my fat a*s makes it's debut on the web in the form of a picture. DD & I volunteer at an alpaca farm every other weekend. I work with special needs kids at a local high school. Us aides take the kids out to job sites. Last year was the first year that we took them to an alpaca farm. I took DD to the open house the farm had in October. After visiting the open house, DD asked if we could come & take care of the animals when I had her. Not being able to say 'no' to my kid, I said sure. Man, I really need my head examined.

At the open house and though out the year, the owner took pictures. Well, he got me a couple of times. I'm in a dark purple shirt and a light purple shirt. The name of the farm is Bent Pine Alpacas. You can then put the .com after the name. There is no spaces between the words. Look under the photos. DD also made it in one photo but you can't see her face.

I'm not sure I'm going to survive the teen years of my first kid....He's not even officially there yet and I'm done! Right now, if I could ship him off to his grandparents, I would. Awful, huh??! Or, maybe I just shouldn't care so much. I mean, if I don't care what he does or how he behaves, then I wouldn't be so mad, right?!

LegoMom, craigslist is a good idea, but don't have the cash right now. Still need to get my daughter a laptop for college. That's got to come 1st.

There is always the free section in Craigslist, too. Keep an eye on that. Dh found lots of stuff for the chickens doing that.

I can laugh because I officially now have a teen. For the last 1 to 1 1/2 years I've said that only one of us will survive DD's teen years.

No. In one pic, I'm far away standing by another lady, my next door neighbor, at a fenced in area where a guy in a hat is talking to us. I have a light purple shirt and tan shorts on. Another one, I'm looking away with two kids there. Those are the kids I took. I have a purple shirt and black pants. The third one I'm holding a bucket, looking down & talking to the one girl I took. I look horrendous on that one.

PaMom, I found you. I like the one of you with the bucket and the girl. You are communicating with her and she looks so happy. Are you on the shorter side like me or is your neighbor just really tall? I'm only 5' 1 1/2". Looks like a great place to visit. I love that I can put a face to your name. Thanks for sharing. I know some of you are on facebook. If I can get my daughter to help me with that, you could see who I am too. I take terrible photos though. Usually I am the one behind the camera and if I ask someone else to take a pic, I have to explain something to them and they usually take the pic as I am talking. I end up looking awful.
