Morning, peeps!

MQ, Kimmar's metling into a pile of butter over Will Turner. ;)

Boy it sure was nice to scroll up and see that photo first thing in the morning. Starts the day right. pirate:

I could not figure out what that was! It looked like a big pile of something nasty. I was trying to think if it was cheesecake or something her face fell in. Butter never crossed my mind.

We're going to see HP on Friday while the kids are at camp and preschool.

OMG, I have one devil of a rant....... :furious: :offtopic:

Around the end of April the beginning of May DD's school got dismissed because something electrical blew up. Everyone was ok, the kids got sent home at 9 am. A few days later I was looking through DD's texts. No flames, please, she lives in my house so I feel that it is appropriate to look through that kind of stuff. Anywho, there was a text there that said, "hey (insert DD's name) what good is having a f**king phone if it's never on." I told DD that I didn't appreciate that kind of language, much less from a 7th grader. Ok, problem over.......or so I thought.

Sunday/Monday I looked through her recieved texts again. Again, there was this girl being rude. Not swearing, just being rude like all teens are. I sent a text to her asking her to mind her manners and I said she was being rude. I signed it "DD's Mom". That got a f**k you response. I called her cell phone and said, "this is Ms. (our last name), DD's mom, I would like your parents to give me a call at ###-####." I also texted her and said that DD lost her cell phone privileges. DD didn't loose privilege's, but, little Miss Smart Mouth didn't need to know that.

WEEELLLLL, that got an apology. I texted back saying thanks, but, have your parents call me at ###-####.

OMG:furious: her response dang near burned my eyeballs. "F**k you b**tch at least I don't go around pulling bras down and smacking other peoples butts like your daughter does. I'm not going to call your gay sh*t." OMG :scared1: I could've reached through the phone and strangled her.

I work at the High School that DD and this girl will be coming to in 1 1/2 years. I know how some of the kids act like when they think noone is around. I know that DD will say things sometimes that she believes that the adult wants to hear so they won't be mad at her. I think I believe her more than this kid.

I asked DD to read the two texts, all of the message couldn't fit into one text. Well of course DD says that the stuff about her wasn't true. I called the school counselor and then sent him an email. I included DD's Learning Support teacher, also. I looked in DD's yearbook and this girl looks like she is a little miss smarty pants. I have this kids FULL name. There is a family that is listed in the phone book. It has to be them because the name is extremely odd. I'm not going to call until I hear from the school counselor.

I emailed the ex to see if this kid's phone number can be blocked last night or the night before. I emailed him tonight saying that if it can't be blocked than we'll have to change DD's phone number and tell DD not to give it out to people.

Ok, end of rant......to be continued.

Big hugs for you, PaMom.... I just cannot imagine....

It amazes and depresses me how much "kids" have changed since I was young. I mean, we had our share of nasty kids in middle school, but NOTHING like what you wrote about this girl!!! And no matter WHAT you had going on with another kid in school, you NEVER, EVER spoke to another parent like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:scared1:

Wow.....

.

Good morning ya'll. :goodvibes

PaMom, I'm sorry for what is going on with your DD and the other kid. Our children can tie us up in knots sometimes can't they.

Good mornin' y'all!

Guess I have to get up earlier if I want to catch up with you, Smileybug!:confused3

:rotfl:

I admit we're all having a lazy summer and doing lots of sleeping in. I just wish the neighborhood kid would get it through his head that my kids do NOT get up early to go play outside at 8:30am!! I mean really, how many times do I need to remind him??!

PaMom, hope today is a better day for you.

Mean Queen, I was over by Chipotle's yesterday and thought, we need to have lunch together soon! Maybe next week??

Well, I should get my sorry butt in gear and get my day started.....See you guys later!

.

Well, both the school counselor & the principal said to contact the parents immediately. They both sent me seperate emails, so combining the two, here's what they said.....they can't do anything now since school is not in session, contact the parents(but don't leave messages, talk to them directly), tell the parents that I'm prepared to go to the police if needed. The school will monitor the relationship between the two once school starts.

Just popping in briefly to say hello before I have to go on lunch break. It's been a busy week--the district moved my office from the front of the Education Center to the back of the building. Plus I have students and we went to see Harry Potter yesterday. Then I bit the bullet and fell hook-line-and sinker for the $22 promotion from Creative Memories to become a consultant again. So I have a home office to get back in shape, as well. I picked a good time for a hiatus--life has intervened. . .

I have read enough back to know about your dilemma, PAMom. I want to caution you about contacting the school. They honestly won't do anything because this is happening outside fo school hours. Your best bet is to contact the parents somehow and tell them what happened and tell them that if their daughter contacts you daughter again, you'll have to file a protective order. Being in schools like you are, but on the administrative side, they can keep an eye out, but there is really nothing the can do otherwise. And middle schoolers are so sneaky, they are willing to do anything. The best bet is to contact your cell phone company and have copies of the test messages printed on their letterhead and send it to the parents somehow. to you, because kids can be so mean to each other. Unfortunately, they have pushed it onto adults now, which they never would have done years ago.

Well, I got a carload of junk to take to the high school and then lunch. Ya'll take care and I'll try to lon og this weekend.

...PaMom ~

Wow! Just......wow....[well that explains your 'location'!] Seriously, not that I'm condoning the behavior, that's the 'typical' age where this kind of stuff happens....as a middle-school teacher and being involved with cheerleaders that age, it can get pretty rough and pretty ugly - ESPECIALLY when there's a boy involved.... to you and your DD....

Hi everyone. It looks like my dad needs my help moving out his wife's things so I will be spending August in Washington. I'm going to miss my mom and sister a lot but I told him that if he needed anything I would help him.

Hope your thursday is going well

Ok, I got a hold of mom on the phone. Heavy accent, but I had no problem understanding her. I grew up with my a parent who was raised in another country so accents are easy for me to understand.

I told mom exactly what her DED(Dear Evil Daughter) texted. Mom even asked DED who my DD was while we were talking. DED tried to form an answer. I could hear her and she was stumbling all over herself. I told mom that I wasn't mad(yea right) and that I wanted to make sure that she was aware of what was going on. I told mom that I understood how kids acted when parents weren't around, that I worked at the High School. I told mom that I wanted to make sure that she was informed because I didn't want her DED to text to the wrong person and get herself(DED) hurt.

We'll see what happens.......

I'm here!...I'm here!!

Things are going VERY well, thanks! Can't believe how fast summer is going by....

How are you???
