Does anybody have one? I had posted before about my 6 year old learning to read and it's going slowly. I saw this on sale at Target with a coupon and picked it up. I haven't decided if I should keep it for a Christmas gift. I don't want to overwhelm him, as he as reading at school, he reads 3 or so books to me at night, and I read 15 minutes(at least) to him every night, but I also want him to succeed. I am wondering if it's worth the expense or not.

Its cute, but it hasn't really done all that much helping my 6yr old.She got it 2 years ago and still uses it

My 4.5 year old has had one for about a year. She loves it. Not sure if it's helped her with her words yet, but she enjoys it none the less. Plus I like that she can read the books on their own as well.

My 5 yr old has had his for a year now. He likes taking it to bed and having the 'pen' play stories for him (you can do this without using the book). He is getting more into it the older he gets. He has not really caught on to it helping him ready yet.

My son got his a couple of years ago and it has been used often ever since. We have several books, the maps, and the animal cards. He also is a struggling reader and it has not helped him greatly with learning phonics, but it has helped with comprehension.
