Tag Fairy ?

OK, OK I know its been asked again and again but whats a tag? DW and I are curious.

I have heard that it is a cute little colored line under your user name. See where your's says welcomed guest? Supposedly, someone working on the boards adds a tag for you but no one knows who, where, or when......

As you can see -- I have not been tagged by the tag fairy yet.

I've also heard that you cannot beg for one or bribe for one either....

Oh I see. I guess its kinda tough to bribe the tag fairy if I don't know when they strike. I think it's pretty neat. Thanks

I have been fortunate enough to have been tagged!

The tag fairy works in truly mysterious ways.

We dare not question his/her powers.

I have seen some people tagged in as few as 10 postings, and others were not after hundreds of postings.

You can be sure, however, that once one is tagged, it will truly fit that person.

Just check the tag for "BuckaroosDad" (affectionately known as BD) for proof!

I got mine very early in my posts (not that I have a lot now)...

I didn't beg, but I did shake my booty...

BD's is very true.
Jim, you have to always keep your fish picture as a signature or no one will know what your 'tag' is for.
Mine is also very true. Watch what you put in your posts, it may become a 'tag'.

You're right. I've thought about dropping the picture for space's sake, but what about my tag?

We have many of those at our house -- I have thought several times about posting one - the 6'4" HWDH (Hendrix-wanna-be DH) with the teeny, teeny, fish --

However, one wishes not to embarrass the family anymore than I already have -- She's NOT going to like it when she learns she has been referred to as "Grumpy" -- oh, the eyerolling!!
