Hello,

Has anyone paid the money to use tag n traq at the airport in the UK

If so, would you say it was worth it?

Sorry I've never heard of it-
well i dont think i have!!!!
what is it :confused3

add me to the list of havent got a clue what it is!

Me neither ........... I thought it was a new game on the boards:rotfl:

I know it's not much at a fiver, but I don't think I'd bother. I only put clothes in my suitcase, everything like ipods etc is in my hand luggage. It would be annoying to ever lose a suitcase, but I'd just claim on my insurance and get new clothes. You're also relying on the baggage handlers to make the effort of contacting the company, it's not like it is an actual tag that they can pinpoint anywhere in the world. You may as well just put a piece of paper in/on your luggage with a neighbour/family/works address on it for them to contact, it would work the same if you're worried about people knowing you're on holiday.

I used to get a free service with one of my credit cards but I paid last August for this (something similar via co-op travel agent) as it is a little bit of peace of mind. Haven't decided about renewing yet but it covers 3 cases which is enough for the family.

I'd definately think about it - it takes long enough for me to choose clothes that I feel comfortable in so having to buy them all over again would be a headache for me...and take time out of the holiday...

:goodvibes

Hi All
I have got the tagntraq luggage tags which I purchased from ThomasCook last year, they traced my lost bag which we stupidly had left in the taxi and never even got it to the airport, I guess anything can happen when you are stressed with kids screaming at 5 in the morning. Their staff were fantastic and arranged for my bag to be sent straight to the airport before we boarded, I would have been lost without the tags and have since used the tags on every trip as well as my husband uses the tag on his briefcase, as he has left it on the train more than once... A great service and I would definitely recommend it to all...
Thanks and happy travels!!

You're right the Co-op do havete luggage tag packs too my friend has just got them with her holiday!
