Taffy Tip Time Again!!!!

With Spring Break fast approaching and more of us heading out to WDW in the next couple of months, I thought I'd repost DH and my Taffy Tip!This is one of the best tips a CM has given us that has allowed us to enjoy more WDW and get more bang for our buck.

If you like taffy from the candy shops at WDW, read carefully! Grab the smallest bag, it is about $2.89,I believe, and counts for a snack credit on DDP. Fill it very carefully and compactly with your favorite taffy flavors. And here is the actual trick....you don't have to close the bag upon purchasing it, so keep the top open and stack it with as many pieces as you can, without them falling down. When you pay for it, the CM will put it into a WDW bag for you, so every extra piece can spill out into that bag! Voila!! You have a lot of taffy to satisfy your own craving, share comfortably with your family, keep around in your resort room as a quick sweet treat, or take home (as we do) to enjoy and let your WDW linger for a little while longer. My DH got 92 pieces in on his first attempt and 101 on our last trip.

And one last taffy tip...ever get those hard pieces or get home and have them get hard? Pop them into the microwave for anywhere from 8-12 secs. and PRESTO! Soft, tasty taffy again!!!
