The mexican place across from POTC( El pirates y Perico) or howeverit is spelled is no longer serving tacos. Was at the MK today and thought i would wander over for some tacos when i looked at the menu board, the tacos are no longer listed. They have taco salad, a burrito, nachos and another item i cannot recall but no tacos.

Weird. Not that it will affect me, since I have never, ever seen that place open!

This June was the first time I had ever seen it open, wanted to try it but was stuffed when we noticed it open.

It has been regularly open for lunch only this summer.

The usual vegetarian selection was black bean tacos, I assume those are gone too.

It is normally open during busy season ie summer, easter, christmas, etc.

I suppose they will now offer black beans as a base for the taco salad as a vegetarian option. I am disappointed since I am also among the masses who either never got there when it was open, or when it was, spotted the open doors on our way from a meal at Pecos Bills!

We had them in March, but they were gone in June... had to make do with nachos. Also missing from the menu was the rice and beans side dish!

Sad, that the tacos are gone, but happy to hear that it is usually open around Christmas since DD's favorite is taco seasoned hamburger.

> and another item i cannot recall ...

Was it an empanada? They used to serve those, years ago.

How weird...we were there in June and my sister most definitely had 2 beef tacos, with a side of rice and beans :confused3

Also, it was the first time I have been there when it was open and I was maybe inappropriately excited - it was becoming like an urban legend restaurant!!

Maybe it is just a cover for a doorway to another time and dimension. Inside when a specific chair is tilted back a portal will reveal itself.

I have checked to see if it was open many times over the years , it was usually closed but I did have taco's a couple years ago in march and Yes they did have empanadas but not in the restaurant but in one of the snack carts in the area where you could get egg rolls too-
I looked for them again and finally found the cart and the boy at the cart said they didn't have them any more ........Gone with the backs of the chairs I guess

That is really strange.. We were there the first week of June and we had the tacos. I wonder why they removed them?
Probably because the toppings bar is so messy and hard to keep clean!!! ;)
