tables in wonderland.

They raised it though. When I bought it in August, I was an AP holder & DVC owner & it was 100 for DVC & 75 for AP holder. They've since upped them both to $100.

This year I am actually going to pass on the TIW card because of the price increase. I am not sure If I am going to make a trip next year so it wont be worth it for me then.

Even with one meal per day that qualified for TIW, even with just the three of us, I'm fairly certain we hit the breakeven point on this one trip. Even with the increase in price. Add the no-fee valet the day we had tea at GF and our enjoyment of the card increased. I have to check receipts (still very jet lagged and having a hard time thinking clearly, LOL) but I really do recommend making SURE it won't be of use to you, even if you just take the one trip.

The other factor for us was that we only had two meals that would have qualified for the 10% DVC discount on this trip.

DH and I purchased our first TIW card in December. We stayed for 8 nights, we like one TS meal per day but we did 2 TS meals the last two days of the trip (due to Christmas we were worried about long lines). We saved $145 on this trip alone so we came out $45 ahead. Dh and I both like to have a beverage of the adult variety with dinner so that is probably what pushed us over the break even point. the DDP didn't work for us (too much food, we don't eat desserts most meals but do like appetizers, we share CS meals).

DW and i had a 3 night trip in jan. and saved about 50. this summer it will be five of us and i'm sure we'll more than make our money back even @ 100..generally we only do about 3 or 4 big meals out on a week trip and have breakfast and lunch that we make at the villa.
