Does anyone know if DVC members can get a TIW card without being a Pass-holder? I though I was sure we could but now I can't find where I read it. Won't be the first time my wishful thinking was wrong. Just made a few ADR's. I was thinking about a AP. We go a couple of times a year but go to the parks less than 10 time during our visit.

We were there last week - and on Saturday, I was able to purchase a TiW card. We were at HS - and I went to Guest Services and found out that a TiW card can be purchased by a DVC member. Cost is $100.00 vice the $75.00 that AP holders pay. Just be sure to ask. I found out by accident - I went to purchase an A/P and then the TiW - but the CM asked another CM - which rate do I charge, the A/P or the DVC...it was then that I asked if it was available - and lo and behold, it was. Good luck and have a wonderful time!

Thanks, one of my ADR is California Grill that alone is half the cost of the card. Was it worth it for you?

Yes, I think it was - I've not run the numbers yet, but we averaged two meals a day (breakfast buffets and then a TS for a late lunch/early dinner) and each was close to $100.00 per meal. We also had a dinner at CRT and that was rather pricey. So all in all, I am fairly certain that it paid for itself.

At the DVC Member price of $100, you would need to spend $500 on pre-discounted dining and adult beverages to break even. The card will be valid for 12 to 13 months depending on when during the month it's purchased.
