Does anyone know that if my Tables in Wonderland card expires around the same time as my Annual pass, can I renew it before my AP expires?

I'm just curious if I can end up with the TIW card, or can I use my TIW card even though my annual pass has expired?

Previously when I purchased TIW I did so when upgrading to an AP, If you bought yours when you got the AP then they would expire together. If you bought it later, then I would believe it is good for a year(12 months from purchase). I don't remember their pricing structure, and if there is any kind of renewal discount. I believe they would let you buy another (new) card without issue. It would be good for 12 months as well. HTH

You need to check your expiration date
But in general, the TiW card has been good for 13 months from the date of purchase. So an AP is good for 12 months and the TiW is good for 13 months. You can use it as long as it is not expired.
I don't believe there is any discount at renewal.

I imagine you could just buy a new one. It sounds like your AP is what qualifies you to buy the TiW card, and you won't have an AP when you want to buy your next TiW. If that's the case, I'd just try to buy a new one before the AP expires. I don't know that the card is linked to your account in any way.

I bought my first tiw card at the end of my first annual pass. Its
expiration is independent of your pass. So as long as you can actually get somewhere to buy it before your pass expires you'll have another 13 months of dining.

Yes - your TiW will be good until it expires (13 months) - you may be asked for your AP card at the restaurant so do keep your AP card to show with your TiW..you are not allowed to share your TiW card with others, so they may want to see your name appear on both cards---there is no discount for renewing TiW

You might be asked to show your ID, but not your AP card. There are three ways to qualify for a TiW (AP, DVC, Florida Resident). You don't have to be an AP holder to use it. You just have to qualify at the time you purchase it.

As long as you purchase in person, it will be valid for at least 13 months. It's valid through the end of the 13th month. If you purchase it near the start of a month, you can get almost 14 months out of it.

You may buy a NEW TIW card anytime you like.... this is not an "expire/renew" item.

Now - to GET one? You require one of several things:
1) DVC Member.
2) ACTIVE AP (no green cards, no will call).
3) Verified resident of FL.

Once you HAVE a TIW card? Look on the back.... your expiration date is totally separate from your AP expiration date.

So - based on your question? You have an Active AP. You QUALIFY for a TIW card up to and including the last day your AP is VALID.
When in doubt? CALL TIW... these people are WONDERFUL. They will help you plan optimum purchase, and use, dates - based on what YOU want to do :).

Not to put too fine a point on this, but this means you can buy your TiW card up to and including the last day your AP is valid. Once you've bought your TiW card, there is no requirement to also have a valid AP in order to use TiW.

EXCELLENT point.... I was unclear. A valid active AP is required at time of purchase.
