Tables in Wonderland questions . . .

If I make ADRs now for CRT or the Spirit of Aloha (both of which need to be pre-paid), but prior to actually using those reservations I get a Tables in Wonderland card, will I be able to get the discount somehow refunded to my card?

Also, am I able to use the TIW card to get a discount for everyone eating with me, or is it something only good for the person holding the card?

Finally, is the TIW card something you can only get if you have an annual pass?

Thanks in advance for any and all answers!

Yes, you can get a credit at the restaurant.

TiW can be used for up to 10 people dining together at a meal, I believe. But it must be all one one check and the cardholder has to be there.

Only AP holders or Florida residents can purchase a TiW card.

Make sure you aren't during a black out period and that your time frame is covered by the card. I think only the late dinner for the luau is covered.

I agree that only the late luau and HDDR are covered by the discount. It does include up to 10 guests and the cardholder must be present. However my DIL did charge one meal to her credit card and the discount was applied since I was present.
There is also an 18% gratutity added to TS meals. I always tip at least this much so it is not a problem for me, but some object to this.

I could never remember if we got the TiW discount on the luau -now I know - we went to the early show, so I guess we didn't.

Thank you for all the answers! I think we might do this when when we get our annual passes :-)

Thanks also for pointing out that TIW is only good for the latter luau - I hadn't realized that.

I always get such awesome help at the DIS!

One thing to know too, for CRT they don't refund the 20% on the total price. Only onthe food portion, since they give a photo pa kafr you won't get 20% off that. The DISer had said the total was $164 and they were refunded $25.

That was me -and yes I calculated that that worked out to 15% (didn't realize that was the case until someone else said that and I looked at the #s again). I'm guessing Akershaus would be the same, since the photo is included, but again - I don't recall and don't have the receipt from that meal any longer.
