If I buy a membership to this does everyone at dinner get the discount or just me?

I am pretty sure it is everyone on your bill, up to ten people. We did this around PCC 1.0, and gave cash to the TiW card bearer to pay.

It's everyone that is going to be on the same bill.
So if there are 8 people at your table and there is only going to be one bill, everyone gets the discount.
You also get the discount on booze.
DH purchase one in May when we were there.
However there are some things that are not adding up.
When we have this figured out DH will probably post a thread.
Watch for it.

Cool thanks!

Everyone on the same bill will get the discount (20% off). I'm not sure what the limit is on the number of people. We just came back from WDW and had only 5 in our party. A few other notes...the TiW card is good only at table service restaurants and they add an automatic 18% gratuity. Just give your server the card when he/she brings the bill and they will adjust your total before applying your payment (cash, credit card, Disney gift card, etc). We ate several table service meals during our 11-day stay and found the card to be a great money-saver for our group. You also get complimentary valet parking at the resorts if dining at one of the resort restaurants. Just show them your card when pulling up to the valet area. Hope this helps!

There are also a couple of counter service places that give the TiW discount. I am pretty sure I used mine at the Flame Tree at the Animal Kingdom.

Yes, it's good for counter service in resorts that don't have table service (like Value resorts and POFQ), and yes, it was good at Flame Tree. I think it's good for all Animal Kingdom park counter service, but I am not 100% certain about Yak and Yeti counter.

And you do get up to 10 people discounted per card.

Yes, you need your AP when you go to buy the card. I think you get it at Guest Relations.

Are you sure about the valet parking?. They wouldn't accept it from us at the Grand Floridian last May when we had reservations there. I gently argued but didn't get anywhere.

Don't know about the Grand Floridian, but we had no problem using it for valet parking at the Boardwalk. I wish I would have known about TiW being accepted at Flame Tree. We ate there one day and had the card with us. Darn!

They are supposed to accept the valet parking at every Disney resort. I've heard that people were having issues at the GF, but I attributed it to when the valet staff was outsourced to an outside company, not Disney. I would think that now there shouldn't be any glitches.

Definitely press the point. You may have to ask for a supervisor in bell services or bring it up inside the resort. Free valet service is a perk for Tables in Wonderland, as long as you're there to dine. You may not get anywhere when you first arrive, but once you've finished your meal, show them your receipt.

And remember you can also park for free at the theme parks after 5 pm. You'll have to pay when you arrive, but then show your dining receipt and parking ticket at Guest Relations to get a refund.

I have a question..Can you use the TiW card after your AP expires? I currently have an AP that expires in 12/09. I'm planning a trip for 10/09. If I purchase the TiW card now will it still be good for a whole year?

The TIW card is good for one year. I have never been asked to show my Annual Pass when using the TIW card. I have been asked to provide the Annual Pass when purchasing the TIW card.

I will agree that I have never been asked to show my AP when using the TIW. I showed my AP when I purchased the card and that's it. I bought my card in November 08 and it says it expires in December 09. I thought I would only get 1 year, but I guess I get 13 months instead.

I believe our TiW card was good for 13 months from the date of purchase. At least that was the policy when we bought it in Aug 08. They never asked to see our AP when we used our TiW card at the restaurants, so I'm guessing you just have to have a valid AP at the time you purchase your TiW. By the way, you probably already know this, but for a list of restaurants where TiW is accepted, check out http://www.wdwinfo.com/disneydiningexperience.htm
