Has anyone participated in the "freindly" competitions on board. I enjoyed the table tennis tournament on another line and wondered if many people participate on DCL.
I didn't see the table tennis competition but one afternoon when we were walking on one of the decks that overlook the atrium, there were quite a few popele participating in the chip-it golf competition.
We've done the ping-pong tournament, family olympics, Mickey Mania and chip-it golf (must be 12+ for that one!) All were fun...the olympics and game show were most geared towards families...all ages were included and everyone just laughed and enjoyed. At our ping-pong tournament, several cruisers who played took it all very seriously. In fact, they seemed to be a little upset that our 11 DD played (she is a nationally ranked tennis player and she can hit a ping-pong ball, too!)
Anyway, overall, not many families seem to show up for these games. It is a shame because they are fun...a great way to spend some family time when at sea!
Ivy, No limbo contests, but there is a limbo dance in the dining room on Pirates Night. Lots of fun!
