When we sailed in August we sat at a table for seven with my Brother and Sister in Law.

On our next cruise it's just us:hyper:

So my question is, do you think it'll be just us at the table, or will we be sitting with another family? I have no objections either way, just curious.

we are a family of 5. We were at a table for 8 with a couple and their young son making up the other 3 seats.

We were 5 of 8 also....another couple with one child.

Thanks for your experiences....
I'm sure we'll have a great time no matter what.....

We are a family of 5 that was seated with another family of 5 at a table for 10.

We were a group of 5 (3 of us met 2 friends in Florida for the sailing) - since we only see each other once a year - on the Cruise we requested a change on board and were seated at a table for 6 (remaining seat left vacant). It was wonderful - took 2 manual and his assistant noel, head served PJ--all were great fun on the 1018 eastern - Magic

Family of 5 wants to sit alone, together.

Our first cruise we went with a group of friends and had an adults only table and a kids only table.

This time around, we want it to be our family only.

When/how do I request this?

Thanks

Sorry, I know this is off topic but I love your name turtlekrawl and hope to have a couple of them(turtlecrawls) the night before our 2/21/04 cruise at the Gurglin' Suitcase at OKW.

We're a family of 5 and had our own table. Basically a 4 person table with one of the children on the end. There was plenty of room.

We requested in advance on several occasions, but DCL didn't honor our plea to sit alone.

We also had a party of five on our Wonder trip. The ship was not crowded and were seated at a table for six with one empty seat. Worked out great for us.

On our first cruise, our family of 5 was given our own table which should have sat 6. On our 2nd cruise, they placed us at a table to 8. We asked to be moved once we met our dining guest because they were obnoxious and loud and showed up pretty drunk to the first dinner. (Not that I have anything against cocktails at all, but at least show some class and respect to your fellow diners and the servers.) Disney graciously moved us to another table. We traveled with friends last time aroudn and I have a request with DCL to have our own table for our 1/3/04 cruise. I'm hoping that they can grant the request, but if not, hopfully we'll have some fun companions.

Want2Go2Disney - Remember to check once you get on board to make sure Disney did put your family at a separate table. We were on the 10/19 Wonder cruise and Disney did not honor our request. I requested through Dreams Unlimited and got confirmation that the TA requested a six top for us. I assumed everything was taken care of so didn't even bother checking when we boarded. Imagine my surprise when we were shown to our table and there was another family of three sitting there already. Since I didn't want to make a scene, we ended up sitting with this family the entire trip. They were nice but we didn't have much in common.
