Table Service Restaurant - Not a Buffet

For our upcoming trip, my wife and I have a late afternoon flight on our departure day. I was thinking it might be nice to use that day to have a leisurely breakfast at a nice restaurant (i.e table service, not counter service). But it would seem that if we didn't want a buffet or character meal, our options are limited. We have done this at the Kona Cafe. Are there any other table service restaurants serving breakfast (not a buffet) worth considering? We will be staying at the AKL.

Whispering Canyon serves a very good table service breakfast at Wilderness Lodge.

We have Grand Floridian Cafe on our last day for Breakfast, it looks good and meets your criteria?

Grand Floridian Cafe and The Wave both get good reviews. The Wave has a buffet, but it also has table service choices. And Olivia's at Old Key West has an interesting breakfast menu, but wouldn't be as easy to get to without a car unless you're willing to call a cab or Uber.

Thanks. I did a search of the Disney Web site and found these but not much more (didn't know about TS at Waves, though). One other place that has an interesting looking breakfast menu is the Rainforest Cafe. Have always stayed away from there as it isn't "really" Disney. But maybe if we needed a little more time at AK on that last day, it could be OK for breakfast. Any EPCOT options? I'm thinking the better option is to wait until 11 and snack our way around World Showcase.

There aren't any non-character breakfasts at Epcot, so if that is where you end up waiting until the WS opens is probably your best bet. Breakfast there is limited to several counter service choices and the character meals at Garden Grill and Akershus.

Kona is one of the best breakfasts onsite.

We've almost always done the Grand Floridian Cafe as our 'exit breakfast'.
It's got a decent menu, and with the 1900 buffet at the other side of the kitchens it's usually a bit quieter than one would expect, especially if you get there at a slightly later time.

Kona is good food, but the few times we were there we found it rather noisy, with the overflow from 'Ohana.
Olivia's would be our recommended second choice. It might be a bit out of the way, as it is about as far as you can get from AKL and still be on property. If you aren't doing a park on your last day, you could take the boat down to Disney Springs after breakfast

I've recently seen another site mention Boardwalk's Trattoria al Forno now offers a more quiet (and less-expensive) non-character breakfast option. But it sounds like the non-character option is walk-up only.

Epcot itself doesn't have anything, but you could do Captain's Grill at Beach club and walk to/from Epcot from there.

Thanks for the tips. Eating out at a nice restaurant for breakfast is one of our favorite things to do. There are several places in our home town with interesting breakfast options we go to often. It is odd that WDW has so few options for breakfast rather than fast food and buffets.

I think that Boma is the best breakfast on property (except maybe for the CG Sunday brunch, which I haven't yet tried). But for non-buffet and assuming CG Sunday brunch is not an option, I would probably go to The Wave.

I would wait and go to World Showcase!!

Captain's Grille has a buffet and order off the menu. We've done both and love it there.
