We were in the parks this past Saturday, March 4th, and this go round I made my first in park reservations at Carnation Café at 2pm. It was marvelous to get off our feet and not stand in line for half an hour to get food! I went in to CC, they gave us a buzzer, and we waited a whopping 3 minutes before we were seated. The food was great and it was a good way to get out of the afternoon busyness for a while!
I highly recommend. It was just so nice to knock the pace down a notch for just under an hour and then get back to it. We went over to DCA at that point since DL gets pretty congested in the afternoon. My husband is really in favor of doing this again in the future, also. We had always just wanted to go with the flow and, therefore, did TS, but the late lunch at this time really worked out awesome for us.
I ate all 5 fried pickles by myself, btw, in addition to the delicious meatloaf, haha.
