Table Service Breakfast Entrée Question

I am considering a couple of character breakfast options with my son (under 3), but I am finding that many of the adult menu options aren't really egg allergy friendly but the kids menu has plenty of egg allergy friendly options. In this case, he couldn't really eat off a parent plate due to the limited adult options but if I order kids menu items will I have to pay for him? Would I be allowed to order off the kids menu for myself while paying full adult price and then share my meal with my son? Would I end up with a larger portion if I paid the adult price? Specifically have been looking at H&V as well as Toppolino's. I am hoping someone with experience with this can help answer some of these questions.

Yes, if you order him from the kids menu you will pay for the meal. Or you can request an allergy-friendly adult meal.

They will definitely work with your allergy needs and bring you a meal that will work for you. I would expect to be charged as an adult and you should receive an adult portion that you could share with your child under 3. Alternatively, you could order whatever you want off the adult menu and also order (and pay for) an allergy friendly kid meal for your child.

I think Toppolinos has an egg substitute mushroom breakfast option on the adult menu.

But they would all substitute for you. I always sub for egg whites.

We ate at Topolino's not long ago (amazing, btw) and I inquired about how they handle the under 3 crowd. I have an 18 month old that can throw down some food so we needed to know portion size and options.

Our waiter told us he would get DS anything we wanted, free of charge. Of course, this is also a spot where most people have had success ordering more than 1 entree so it may be the exception.

He got his own Mickey waffle kids entree, we each had an entree, and we ordered fruit for the table.

So, I would go ready to order something egg-free to share with him and be pleasantly surprised if the waiter offers to bring a kid's meal out for no extra charge.
