Table Service Beverages on DDP

What beverages are allowed with your meal at a TS on the DDP? Is it just basics like soda, coffee etc or are the more expensive drinks allowed like milk shakes, smoothies etc?

Whether or not specialty drinks like milkshakes or smoothies are included depends entirely on the restaurant. Some allow it and some don't.

Always ask. We've gotten shakes/smoothies and/or virgin drinks at Kona, the Wave, Pepper Market, Artist Point, Whispering Canyon, Flying Fish, Yachtsman, California Grill, 50's Prime Time, Le Cellier, Coral Reef, Kouzzina and probably a few more that I can't think of off the top of my head.

Usually you can get them unless they come with some sort of novelty item, like a glow cube or a glass you can keep etc...

I also know at the wave my BIL and Sister didn't want any drinks like soda. Since they got wine or something and I know my BIL and Sis was told they could take a bottle of Evian or Perrier water If they wanted. So they did.

I had a smoothie last week at Rose and Crown, Coral Reef and Le Cellier. Note you only get 1 and then water, if you get a soda or ice tea they keep refilling.

Tutto Italia did not allow coffee as a beverage when I was there .
I paid OOP.....I mean who can eat a cannoli without coffee????

(I had tap water to drink so it wasn't as if I tried to order two drinks; in some places I ordered both a coffee and a soda and sometimes was not charged for the coffee...)

Always ask first. Although, we found that most servers were great about pointing out which drinks were included on the ddp.

The smoothies at the wave and le cellier were included ... and delicious!
Kona let us share a pressed pot of coffee in place of one of our drinks at breakfast.

The green tea, with loads of refills, was included at Teppan Edo too.
