Last December I was at Disney on Business and got to squeez in dinner at O'Hana with 2 colleagues. We were seating right next to the window looking at the castle and got to watch Wishes. It was wonderful. O'hana is my DW favorite restraunt. We will be on vacation agin this year in late October and already have an ADR for 8:10pm. Mys question is, can i request a table in advance for the MK view or do i request when i check in, or do they even take table requests? Thanks for you help.

They won't give you a guarantee. What we have done is show up 30 mins early and tell the CM checking us in that we would like a window table and we are willing to wait. We've never had a problem getting either next to the window or the next table over. Unfortunately we are no longer Ohana fans since they changed the menu almost 2 yrs ago. We miss the rice, green beans, and especially the pineapple and caramel. Remember to check when they are having the fireworks, it could be a MNNSHP night and the fireworks can be for a later time.

This is what we did in Feb. It was no problem at all and we got a great table right next to the window. and watched Wishes from there. It was terrific.

But make sure you are clear on your request...ask for front window...I requested a window and got seated to the side and then we stood to see Wishes.

If you request a specific table, you may have to wait longer than normal depending on how quickly the current diners want to leave.

I have some friends that are huge O'hana fans. they go all the time. Last trip they got a window seat and when the fireworks started, a big table got up and gathered all around their table. They even had a lady squeeze between the window and the table blocking their veiw to get a couple of pictures. This lady's rear end even scraped along the table and bumped a drink. (it did not fall) My friends say she never said a word to them.

When I was at Ohana in October I saw a table beside us request the pineapple and caramel and the servers brought it out to them. So there is hope for ya! :thumbsup2
