Table or Booth?

I much prefer a booth. My favorite is the kind that is a semi-circle.

We usually wait for a booth here on the Cape. They are always more private. We only go to non smoking restaurants...."smoke free".

Our family of 4 prefers a booth. As we are checking in, we always mention that we'd like a booth, if available.

When my kids were younger, it was easier to contain them and kept them from running off.

Now we prefer a booth because they are usually more comfortable than a table and chairs.

A booth does contain our DS3 better than a table although he's getting better at sitting. But......I always feel like I'm in a high chair when I sit in one -- it would be nice to have my feet actually touch the floor in a booth.:D

We always ask for a table. With the kids (older, so don't need to confine them), I like the table, otherwise my daughter keeps scooching over towards me and them we are stuck together. My husband is left handed so I like to stick him across from me. And my son always has to go to the men's room as soon as the entrees arrive!

We're the few, the proud, the booth-challenged!

Booth, unless there are too many of us to sit in one booth. Then, rather than sit in several booths, we get a table.

I agree with the "boothers" I have two , ugh, SPIRITED...kids and we have to keep them in the booth or they will run wild... ha ha!

DH and I always request a booth, even if we have to wait longer. I like being against a wall. Tables are too in the middle of everything.

booth please, there always seems to be more cushion in the booths then on chairs. I dont mind being too far from the table, never really had that problem actually. I know i can sit back and relax while waiting for my food, and not have to worry about hitting someone if i strech or anything

Booth.

Ditto on trapping children. Easier to keep them contained. Also it feels my private

I used to always prefer booths, but now I like tables better if I'm going to need to nurse the baby and the table at the booth is stuck to the wall. There's never enough room for me to hold him right without hitting his head on the table if I can't move it back a few inches.

A booth, if available. I'm usually dining alone and it's more private. I usually (well, always) have a book to read and I HATE being stuck at a table near the front where everyone entering and leaving has to walk by the table. I'll take a smoking booth over a non-smoking table

Booth also -- for pretty much the same reasons as most of the parents have listed. :)

I like a booth better because with a table I feel too close to other people.

Table.
Kids are older and do NOT like to sit near each other.
And I like the elbow room.
