Agreed. I'd also not book a cruise without being very clear that all the ducks must be in a row before you commit. This could have been avoided if either you had said you'd only book for early seating, or if you did, she had listened to you. The documentation is criticle but I'd not give her more than one additional chance to screw things up. Glad it worked out.

Hey CVW.

What do you suppose she did?

***as he is responding to this question, Buckaroo's Dad is watching the OP administer an oral exam to a gift horse***...

Good news! The gift horse has successfully passed his orals. (Didn't do so well on the written.)

If you're cruising October 11th, I'll be the one in early dining riding on his gift horse.

You may also spot my mom (a very proud grandma) reuniting with her three adoring grandkids. She'll be the one on a high horse.

We just got home 1 hour ago from a terrific 3-day Disney cruise (our second). When I am wrong - I say so - and BOY was I wrong!

In my previous post I gave some reasons why the second seating wasn't going to be so bad, blah, blah, blah. That we had done the early seating for our first cruise and we were trying the late dinner for this one....

Well...
THANK GOD YOU GOT YOUR EARLY SEATING!

We HATED the late dinner!!! It was MUCH longer from start to finish than the early setting. The children (4, 5, 7, 8) we horrible monsters::yes:: and it totally interrupted the evening. We could NEVER get to any of the 9:45 or 10:00 activities. And we were NEVER hungry for the late night free food, etc.

I am thankful that you got the earlier seating time. I will never eat at late dinner again!

Have fun!

We had the same problem on our recent cruise...they told me we had been waitlisted...but it had just happened the day we boarded...lol. After a little talk with the powers that be...we were changed to the late seating, thank goodness.

Just check immediately when you board the ship. There will be a special place set aside to change your dinner seating times..go straight there. Be nice, but persistant.
