We have a travel agent who got us a quote for 3 rooms at POP for '08, tickets, dining, etc. She had a hold on it while we made decisions. The hold is up tomorrow, Sept. 18. We have been trying to get in touch with TA for days to confirm we want it and give credit card info for deposit. We got one quick email that her son had been injured in a car accident and was ok, but she was behing. Since then, a few emails have gone unanswered, phone messages not returned, and now her phone mailbox is full. Who knows, perhaps things got worse with her son, but we have no way of knowing if she's just running behind or ignoring us or really, really struggling.
We do want to lock in this reservation and move forward with out planning, and liked the TA- she came highly recommended, though we got off to a bumpy start with communication a month ago, and now this...
Any suggestions? What happens if we don't lock in by tomorrow? Is there another way to lock in without going through the TA, if she doesn't get back to us anytime soon?
