T shirt question

I will be singing up for the WDW half on Tuesday and I have a question about the shirts. I see they have womens and mens. Does anyone know if they have been different in the past. I am in the middle of my weightloss journey and I want to make sure my shirt fits, but I don't want to look stupid if I get the mens. I buy mens shirts all the time so not opposed to that. I am currently a size 18/20 so I might be able to wear the womens xxl if it is not the junior cut. Does anyone have any insight from past years.

I'm a guy, I will always choose a women's large and fits perfect on me. I wear a guy's large t-shirt, but tech shirts I like better tighter and shorter sleeves. I'm 6'1, 165 to give you a sizing aspect of it.

Thanks so much. I think I am just going to get the mens XL. I would rather it be too big than too small. I just started running so super excited.

I've been getting the men's shirts at the disneyland half for years. I think the men's XL is a good choice (I was also an 18/20 back when I started w runDisney). The nice thing is they have a shirt swap if you find out its too big or too small If someone else has a size you want you can swap it out

I was going to post that there is a shirt swap so I would ask for the cut that you would like to have and then try it at the expo and swap it if it doesn't fit

Last year at the Marathon all the shirts were based on guy sizes. That had almost every woman who originally signed up for a small or medium struggling to find an extra small. Thank goodness they changed that for next year!

Yes they do have a shirt exchange, but you may not be able to exchange it until the end of the expo on saturday evening. ( they need to make sure that everyone who registered has the shirt they registered for before they go exchanging) At least that is they way it worked last year.

Yes, in previous years it was unisex so we all had men's shirts for marathon weekend.

I don't recall having to wait until Saturday to exchange a shirt though. I was there in Thursday and they were exchanging shirts if the one you had didn't work. Same for Princess weekend, if we didn't like our size they told us to exchange it. We weren't told we had to wait. It was a separate section from packet pick-up but in the same general area.

Here's the size chart from PHM, which has women's sizing. Hopefully they're using the same vendor for January, or at least one that uses the same sizing. I'd guess with this being the first year offering women's shirts there will be a lot of swap requests.
