t-shirt question

so i have started to make my shirts. one of the designs that i am using is the "life is good" design by rumblytumbly. here is my question- i bought dark transfers, will i have to cut out all the letters individually? and then iron them on. or if nothing printed there will they show up clear? thanks!

if you bought dark transfers anything not cut out will show up WHITE! I used only dark transfers on the following shirts.

btw, if you have more tees to do, you might want to save those dark transfers b'c they are more expensive than the light transfers.

thanks for the quick reply. that is what i needed to know. the pics really helped too since i am not artistically inclined and tend to get stuck with the simplest of things. anyway...thanks!
