This may not be what you were looking for, but I got inspired and tried it anyway.

I like it!! I was also thinking of something along the lines of "Watch Out World -- the Griswolds Are Back!" and maybe include the dates 12/6-12/13/08. Would something like that work with your design, or is it too much text?
