T-Rex is not on the DDP.

My DH (35) and DS (11) have to go every time we go to Disney. They LOVE the ribs.

We always get the DDP but we just know that we will have to pay out of pocket for the meal and use that credit for a reservation that requires 2 table service credits.

We booked this place for our upcoming trip in 3 weeks. Pretty sure it is in the dining plan. At least they didn't tell us it wasn't?

T-Rex is not on the DDP. Rainforest Cafe is on the Premium plan, but very few people actually purchase that plan.

Good to see such good reviews. Last trip we did RFC, this time DD is begging for TRex. So on arrival day, we will do DTD for a bit and a surprise to TRex for dinner. Glad to know it is a kid and adult pleaser. (But what is the ice room, should I request somewhere else to sit since I am prone to migraines and seizures?)

Looks like I'm in the minority but I did not love T-Rex! The atmosphere was cool and the service was fine. The food was satisfactory but nothing to write home about. IMO, if you've done Rainforest Cafe - you've done T-Rex. Same thing but with dinos. The food is very chain-restaurant like, similar to Planet Hollywood and Hard Rock Cafe which I'm also not fond of. I may be bias since we have Rainforest, PH and Hard Rock 15 mins from me in Niagara Falls, but it's just not a place we'd rush to go back to.

DS is very excited about our upcoming T-Rex dinner. He knows that we are doing CRT and Arkershus - so he was thrilled to hear about T-Rex.

Our first night is a RO package so we will be paying OOP, so T-Rex seems like a good choice for us. Looking forward to it.

And I have eaten at all three of those there! LOL I do not care for things I can eat elsewhere either, but my trip to Niagara I was outvoted and everyone opted for those places! Same in Chicago. I should have stock in RFC! lol At least with TRex I will get new scenery.

The food there was very good. (was actually surprised) We also got the choc ext for dessert and loved it! Paid OOP so don't know if you can get on DDP.


PS- we requested to sit in the ice cave. The room changes color many times, but it's a slow process. Not flashing or crazy. I found it to be the calmest area in the restaurant (but not boring). Ask for a booth.
